ACTOR DAVID DUCHOVNY TO PLAY A MAN "LIVING A LIE" IN NEW DRAMADavid Duchovny will soon head back to work after receiving treatment for sex addiction.
The actor, 48, has signed on to star in the family drama The Joneses, alongside Demi Moore, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The story revolves around a picture-perfect family that moves to the suburbs and immediately becomes the toast of the town.
Turns out, they are a commissioned fake family put together by a marketing company as a way to introduce new luxury-level products to neighborhoods around the world.
Duchovny plays the fake father, "a man undergoing a crisis of confidence because he is living a lie," according to the Reporter.
Moore takes on the role as the career-driven mother, who struggles with her growing feelings toward Duchovny.
In August, Duchovny released a statement saying that he "voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction. I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family." Usmagazine |
