SHIA LABEOUF: WON'T BE CHARGED DUE TO "INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCE"Shia LaBeouf, who was arrested on suspicion of DUI in July, will not be charged, TMZ.com reported on Thursday.
The L.A. County D.A. rejected the case on grounds of insufficient evidence, TMZ reported.
According to TMZ, while LaBeouf won't be prosecuted, he could have his license suspended for refusing to submit to a blood alcohol test. The actor's DMV hearing is scheduled for tomorrow, Steve Whitmore from the L.A. County Sheriff's Department told TMZ.
LaBeouf was partying at West Hollywood's Troubadour Club before the July 27 crash that flipped his truck.
"The car hit me at 70 mph," the 22-year-old told Entertainment Tonight.

In his new movie Eagle Eye, LaBeouf plays a man, who is always being watched and followed.
"My life is very strange," LaBeouf told MTV.com. "I live in a fishbowl anyways. [Being constantly watched] it is not extremely problematic for me personally."
He continued: "I think it's for people who have privacy; I think then it's a problem. But for people who don't have privacy, it's just another thing, you know." Usmagazine |
