JAY-Z TO PLAY CONCERT ON EVE OF OBAMA INAUGURATIONJay-Z will not be performing at the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama, but he will still be making an appearance the night before the event, reports The Associated Press.
The rapper will take the stage for a concert in Washington, D.C., on the eve of the event. He will perform for a crowd of less than 2,000 people at the Warner Theatre.

Jay-Z and his wife, Beyonce Knowles, are both major Obama supporters. After Obama was elected back in November, Knowles offered to sing at the inauguration festivities.
