TOM CRUISE: JETT TRAVOLTA'S DEATH IS "HORRIFIC"

On Friday's The View, Tom Cruise is visibly shaken when asked about the death of pal John Travolta's 16-year-old son Jett.
"It's just horrific," he tells Barbara Walters.
"Both of them are doting parents," he later says of Travolta and wife Kelly Preston. "They're both wonderful people."
At a loss for words, the segment then ends.

Travolta and Preston are expected to hold a private memorial service for Jett, who was killed by a seizure on Jan. 2.
The funeral will be held in the gated community in Ocala, Fla., where the Travolta family lives in an $8 million home.
