Nicole Richie, meeting Kimberly Stewart for dinner at Il Sole in West Hollywood. The pals dined together at the popular Italian restaurant while Richie's former stylist Rachel Zoe ate across the room. According to onlookers, the two exchanged awkward glances, but never actually spoke to each other. Also at Il Sole: Molly Sims, who dined with a girlfriend – and raved about the Bellinis.
Lauren Conrad, hiking up the steep steps at L.A.'s Runyon Canyon with two girlfriends in tow. According to a fellow jogger, the Hills star sported sunglasses and barely seemed out of breath despite the steep climb. A day earlier, Ryan Gosling stopped to ask for directions while running along one of Runyon Canyon's trails with a female friend.
Ashley Olsen, strolling into West Hollywood's Chateau Marmont with boyfriend Justin Bartha. The starlet immediately approached the hostess and gave her a hug while Bartha hung back, waiting patiently. The two then grabbed a side table near the bushes and Olsen tucked into a Caesar salad while enjoying a little time with her beau. "They were leaning in and being cute with each other," a fellow diner says. Meanwhile, inside the lobby, Isla Fisher cuddled on the couch with her daughter Olive, 10 months. "Someone told her how cute Olive was and she was so excited," the onlooker says.
Teen stars Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, causing a commotion among their tween fans while picking up treats at Dylan's Candy Bar in New York. The BFFs shopped around and had their pictures snapped as kids went wild. The twosome also visited the store's café for frozen hot chocolates before Lovato grabbed some gummy candies to go.
Chace Crawford, enjoying a bird's eye view of the US Open. The Gossip Girl cutie, in a white cap, checked out the tennis match from a luxury box. Also there: Luke Wilson and new girlfriend Meg Simpson, who sat courtside as guests of Novak Djokovic. The couple watched the Serbian tennis pro win his match from the athlete's own box.

Ashley Olsen, snuggling over margaritas and
guacamole at Dos Caminos SoHo with boyfriend Justin Bartha. The
happy couple sat on the same side of their booth and watched the Olympics
together on television.
In Seattle for an Obama rally, Ellen Pompeostopped into Tulio, an Italian restaurant, for an early lunch of spicy
pasta. The Grey's Anatomy star ate half the portion – she
told the staff it was larger than she expected – then
whipped out her American Express Gold card, paid and left.
Kevin Federline, living large – Las Vegas
style! K-Fed and his brother Chris hung out in a private cabana at TAO Beach club, where they had
drinks and feasted on Kobe beef burgers and chicken satay.
Sienna Miller, lighting up when Balthazar
Getty strolled onto the patio at West Hollywood's Chateau Marmont, where
she was drinking rosé and chatting with pals. The pair shared a
hug and passionate kiss hello before sitting down – side by side
– and acting affectionate (think cuddling and sneaking some kisses) at
the table with her friends.
Nicollette Sheridan, stopping into L.A.'s Melrose Bar and
Grill with another couple for watermelon martinis and pizza and pasta.
The Hills's fourth season just began – and the cast has been working overtime as
they live their lives and shoot the MTV show. The whole crew –Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port and Stephanie Pratt – hung out at the Tt
Collection Pool Party in Malibu, where they chatted on the chaises and
played in the pool. Conrad kept her attention on her girls, but also caught
up with Doug Reinhardt. By REAGAN ALEXANDER, MARK GRAY, JENNIFER GARCIA, MAUREEN

| BOB SAGET: ANSWERING QUESTIONS ABOUT THE OLSENS IS "EXHAUSTING" Blog |
Former Full House star Bob Saget says he's over answering questions about his television daughters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
"It gets old," he told the Associated Press. "It can get a little bit exhausting. It's really not about anything.
"It kind of makes me really just want to go and read the news... and then go to a movie or do some cardio," he added.
See photos of '90s TV stars: then & now.
Saget – who was roasted last week for a Comedy Central special that will air on Sunday – revealed that he never gave fatherly advice to the Olsen twins.
"A lot of the conversations I have with Ashley and Mary-Kate have been [them saying], 'No, I really like her, she's a really good girlfriend' or 'You should try that, I think that'd be good for you,'" Saget told the AP. "That's the truth. So it's kind of reversed."
See photos of the Olsen twins' 22 years of fashion.
Saget said if a film version of the classic '90s show was made, he'd want his character of Danny Tanner to be played by How I Met Your Mother's Josh Radnor or Jason Biggs.

| SNEAK PEEK: MARY-KATE & ASHLEY OLSEN'S NEW BOOK Blog |
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are gearing up to take the literary world by storm – or at least glam it up a little – with their upcoming coffee-table book Influence, and PEOPLE has a preview of its two covers.
One version of the 272-page hardcover book – due out Oct. 28 – will feature Mary-Kate on the cover, with Ashley on the back, while the other version swaps their positions.
"Ashley and Mary-Kate take readers on a journey through their celebrated young lives, pausing to reflect on what has helped shape them into who they are today," the book's publisher said in a statement. "They interviewed 20 people and wrote brief essays about each other. In each interview, the girls explore what inspired the interviewee." Those interviewed include fashion designers Karl Lagerfeld, Diane Von Furstenburg, John Galliano and Christian Louboutin, as well as model-actress Lauren Hutton."We interviewed the people who have inspired us, with the hope that they will inspire and teach others," Mary-Kate said. "We want to explain culturally how ideas evolve."
Mary-Kate OlsenChimed in Ashley: "We have filled Influence with the most interesting, challenging, creative people we know – the ones who helped pave the way for us and our generation."
The book's artwork includes photos and drawings provided by the interviewees, as well as never-before-seen photos from the 22-year-old twins' private collections.
