Selena Gomez and Taylor Lautner stepped out together in Vancouver over the weekend, sparking rumors that the Disney Channel star and the Twilight hunk are more than just friends.
When they had a break from filming (him New Moon and her Ramona and Beezus), Lautner, 17, picked up Gomez, 16, at her hotel Saturday, and the young couple headed for dinner at the upscale Cactus Club in the town of Coquitlam.
After dinner, they linked arms and walked to a nearby cineplex to see the Beyonce Knowles thriller Obsessed. "They were cuddling throughout the movie and sat very close together," says an onlooker. "[They were] definitely acting like they were boyfriend and girlfriend."It's not the first time the couple has been spotted together. They recently grabbed dinner with some friends – including Lautner's Twilight costar Robert Pattinson. They were also spotted drinking lattes together at a nearby cafe on Thursday. "They were just sort of doing their own thing, talking," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
Despite the cuddling at Saturday's movie, sources say it's not exactly a romance. "He has been visiting her on the set and they've been hanging out in Vancouver, says a source close to Gomez. "The two of them are friends."

"Well, I think I definitely want to be a mother one day," the singer, 27, tells MTV News. "And I will be — God willing — but not really [right now]. I didn't really get the little urge [from playing a mom]. It was more like, 'God, this is a lot of work.'"

Told at the film's NYC premiere last Thursday that she did an excellent job playing a mom, she laughed.
"I must be becoming a very good actress then!" she told Usmagazine.com.

Asked about the secret to her marriage with Jay-Z (whom she wed a year ago), Knowles told Us, "I think that you have to just be really strong and remember that you're best friends. That's what keeps it real, you know?"

Fans are obsessed with Beyonce Knowles.
Obsessed, the new Fatal Attraction-style thriller, dominated the weekend box office with $28.5 million in ticket sales -- well over what studio execs predicted.

The movie also stars The Office's Idris Elba, who plays Knowles' husband in an ideal marriage that is shattered after a psychotic coworker (played by Heroes' Ali Larter) begins some serious stalking.
The film -- which was projected to open in the high teens -- is Knowles' top-grossing debut since her own film debut in Austin Powers in Goldmember.

Zac Efron's 17 Again and Channing Tatum's Fighting were neck-and-neck for the No. 2 spot, with Efron's comedy taking in $11.7 million after debuting as the top movie last week -- for a 10-day total of $40 million. Barack Obama knows how to throw a party! The future President of the United States will be host to Hollywood's finest during the upcoming presidential inauguration festivities.
An A-list crowd will take on Washington D.C. this weekend to celebrate Obama, who will be sworn in as the first African-American president in history on Jan. 20. The festivities, starting Friday and lasting until Tuesday night, include appearances by Will Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Sheryl Crow and Oprah.

The non-stop parties begin Friday night at a BET dinner for Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Denzel Washington, Jay-Z, Beyonce Knowles, Jamie Foxx, Morgan Freeman, Alicia Keys and Patti LaBelle, among others.
BET will host another event on Saturday. Joss Stone, Mary J. Blige, Terrence Howard, Stevie Wonder and Tyler Perry are some of the stars who plan to attend.

The Presidential Inaugural Committee's official kick-off event is the We Are One concert at the Lincoln Memorial. The Sunday show will feature performances from Bruce Springsteen, Crow and Beyonce. Also scheduled to hit the stage are John Mellencamp, Shakira, Garth Brooks, will.i.am and Josh Groban.
Forrest Whitaker, Jeffrey Wright, Adrian Grenier and Elizabeth Berkley plan to attend Rolling Stone's Rock the Vote event on Monday. Meanwhile, Rosario Dawson plans to attend an event hosted by MoveOn.org, and stars including Jessica Alba, Lindsay Lohan and Sam Ronson will be at the Declare Yourself event. Environmental activist and former Vice-President Al Gore will spend the evening at the Green Inaugural Ball.
The Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus perform at the week's second big musical event, Kids' Inaugural Concert to honor military families on Monday. The show will be hosted by future First Lady Michelle Obama and Jill Biden, wife of the new vice-president, Joe Biden. Demi Lovato and Usher will also take the stage.

The HuffPo Ball will host some of the inauguration's biggest names on Monday evening. Hosted by the Huffington Post, the party is the first-ever interactive ball allowing web users to join in the event. Those attending the ball at the Newseum include Halle Berry, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Fall Out Boy, Samuel L. Jackson, Martha Stewart and Steven Spielberg, among others. Crow, will.i.am and Sting will perform live at midnight.
The parties continue after Obama's inauguration ceremony on Tuesday. Courteney Cox and David Arquette will join Rihanna at the Feeding America Ball that evening. Meanwhile, Anne Hathaway, Kate Walsh, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard and Seal will be at the Creative Coalition Inaugural Ball.

| JENNIFER HUDSON LEADS NAACP IMAGE AWARDS WITH SEVEN NODS Blog |
They can act and they can sing. And now Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys and Beyonce Knowles are getting recognized for both talents.
The trio received NAACP Image Award nominations Wednesday in both film and music categories. Hudson, who is still grieving the loss of her mother, brother and nephew, leads the pack with seven nominations, followed by Knowles with six.All three women face off in the outstanding female music artist, best music video and for outstanding supporting actress. Hudson and Keys were nominated for their work in The Secret Life of Bees, and Knowles for her role in Cadillac Records.
Both films were nominated for Best Picture, along with Miracle at St. Anna, Seven Pounds and Tyler Perry's The Family That Preys.
The NAACP Vanguard Award will be presented to hip-hop pioneer Russell Simmons.
Previous Image Award winners Halle Berry and Tyler Perry will host the 40th NAACP Image Awards on Feb. 12 in Los Angeles, airing live on FOX.

Jay-Z will not be performing at the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama, but he will still be making an appearance the night before the event, reports The Associated Press.
The rapper will take the stage for a concert in Washington, D.C., on the eve of the event. He will perform for a crowd of less than 2,000 people at the Warner Theatre.

Beyonce Knowles wants to be the first black actress to play Wonder Woman on the big screen.
"A black Wonder Woman would be a powerful thing. It's time for that, right?" Knowles says in an interview with the LA Times.
For her role as Etta James in the upcoming drama Cadillac Records, Knowles had to pack on 20 pounds. Though the actress is in fighting shape now, she acknowledges the red, white and blue bathing suit is an "unforgiving" one.

It's like dancing and choreography. And the superhero movies now, they're not corny, not corny at all, so that's what I want to do. And I would love if it could be Wonder Woman."

"With this I got to go to Africa, I got to see the water pumps, I got to touch it," he went on. "I got to see the kids turn them on. Tonight, I don't know what I'm doing here, I'm rewarded already."
