COURTENEY COX: I'VE HAD BOTOX - AND "I HATED IT!" Blog
Courteney Cox has a confession: She's had Botox, and she didn't like it!
"Botox? I think it's fantastic and also horrible," she tells November's Marie Claire. "I mean, they've come up with this stuff that can make you not look angry. But you have to use it sparingly.
"I went to this doctor once," Cox, 44, continues, "and he was like, 'Oh, let me do it just here and here and here.' And I was miserable.
She explains, "I mean, I'm an actor, I've got to be able to move my face. When people start messing with their foreheads and can't life their eyebrows, that's weird. It's not that I haven't tried Botox - but I hated it."
Luckily, Cox says, "I'm under pressure to not do anything."
Plastic surgery, she adds, isn't "really important" to her husband of nine years, David Arquette.
See Courteney and David's wedding photos!
"He loves the aging process. He thinks it's beautiful," she says in the magazine.
"It's weird, because I'm so in love with David right now," Cox says. "I'm starting to really appreciate how 'there' he is for me. But in any relationship, there are times that you're disconnected. You can see how relationships end if you don't work through it."

NICOLE KIDMAN STEPS OUT FOR ELLE'S WOMEN IN HOLLYWOOD TRIBUTE Blog
Nicole Kidman joined Hollywood's biggest actresses – including Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Lopez – for the 15th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute Monday night in L.A.
Kidman, Hathaway and Berry were among the women who took home Icon Awards at the dinner and ceremony, hosted by Elle magazine at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills.
In one of her first public appearances since giving birth in July to daughter Sunday Rose, Kidman arrived sans husband Keith Urban, and wearing a Prada minidress. "It's nice to be a part of a celebration," she told PEOPLE. "It's a lovely time to be working in Hollywood." At the awards ceremony later, her Bewitched costar Shirley Maclaine presented Kidman with her award and marveled, "She's in the Meryl Streep category in my opinion. She's, maybe with Meryl, the two best."
Kidman's fellow Aussie actress Isla Fisher also gushed about her. "She's kind of the acting equivalent of a nine-gang jujitsu master yellow belt," said Fisher.
The Wedding Crashers actress accepted the Calvin Klein Spotlight Award from pal Courteney Cox, who called Fisher "a truly amazing mother" as Fisher's fiancè, Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen, proudly filmed her acceptance speech on a handheld camera.
Meanwhile, a Roberto Cavailli-clad Berry, who brought her boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, beamed as Diane Keaton welcomed her on stage. She told the celeb-packed audience about how Keaton wrote an inspirational note to her after her Oscar win for Monster's Ball, which she often refers to. "I always go back to those words Diane, that winning wasn't everything."
Hathaway, who wore Marc Jacobs, described the evening as "wonderous-strange." The actress also wore her heart on her sleeve as she accepted her award from her Get Smart director, Peter Segal: "Jane Fonda and Diane Keaton, you won't find a woman in this room who won't kiss your feet, myself included," she gushed. "And should any of the honorees need an organ, call me."
The evening's other attendees included Leah Remini, Eva Mendes, Kate Beckinsale, Jenny McCarthy, Kerry Washington, Nicolette Sheridan, Sheryl Crowe and Sharon Osbourne.

Matthew McConaughey, hopping behind the bar and
mixing up a vodka soda at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego. When he wasn't
playing mixmaster, or talking up his movie Surfer Dude, the actor
relaxed in a poolside cabana and hit up the Moonstone Lounge at night.
A downpour didn't stop Ashley Olsen from showing
up to celebrate trendy New York boutique Intermix's 15th
anniversary at the Bowery Hotel. The fashionista mingled with guests like
Michelle Trachtenberg and Ugly Betty's Becki Newton at the bash, which also featured an intimate dinner of beef
carpaccio and king salmon. Olsen was out the night before too: She stopped
by the Russian Tea Room for some champagne and caviar. The occasion? A
birthday fete for socialite Victoria Traina, the daughter of Danielle Steel. Courteney Cox Arquette,
celebrating a friend's birthday along with husband David Arquette at New York gastropub the Spotted Pig. The group seemed to enjoy fondue and cake, an
observer reports, noting that the former Friend looked "gorgeous" in her
gray shift dress.
Jessica Alba, happily pushing 2-month-old
daughter Honor Marie through Los Angeles International Airport's
Terminal 6 with husband Cash Warren following right behind. Alba
would lean over and check on her daughter in the stroller, while Warren made
sure the family had everything.
Shanae Grimes and her new 90210 costar Annalynne McCord, grabbing a Vital Action Performance Water while browsing
the goodies at a style suite in L.A. Also there: 90210 alum
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, who pushed
daughter Stella, 2 months, around the pool in her baby carriage while
guests clamored to get a look. According to a source, the baby girl looks
just like her father.
Also Spotted ... John Mayer, mingling on the rooftop of New
York's Hotel Gansevoort with comedian friend Sherrod Small, who
gamely chatted up the ladies. Mayer, meanwhile, kept it low-key. ...
Diddy, offering his presidential
endorsement – for Barack Obama – over the mic, while
partying at Shrine, the nightclub at MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Connecticut. ... Nicky and Kathy Hilton, browsing the jewelry at the Lia

Kate Bosworth, toasting the fifth anniversary of West Hollywood Italian eatery – and celebrity magnet – Il Sole
with a soiree at the restaurant. Dining on the patio, the actress celebrated at the Veuve Clicquot-sponsored bash with some of the restaurant's most
loyal clientele, including Courteney Cox Arquette, husband David Arquette and newly single Nicollette
Sheridan. Outside, Bosworth raved about the truffle pasta, and other diners feasted on steak and tomato salad.
Meanwhile, the day before, Bosworth and British beau James Rousseau shopped for an external hard drive together at the Apple
store at The Grove.
Jessica Biel, getting highlights at Neil George Salon in Los Angeles. Stopping in almost before closing time, the actress
brought a friend along as she got her usual treatment, an onlooker tells us. Earlier in the day, Amanda Peet stopped in for some highlights, too,
bringing along her daughter, Frances, 18 months, who ran around the salon.
Looking radiant in a gray knee-length summer dress, Jennifer Garner picked up some kid-friendly gear for daughter Violet
inside Jenny Bec's on Santa Monica's Montana Avenue. The expectant actress brought along her
daughter, and chatted with fellow shoppers during the kid-friendly visit.
Violet was having fun, a source says, and wanted to play dress up in
the store, so Garner bought her a Snow White costume along with some books
and other toys.
Also at Jenny Bec's: Marcia Cross, who flipped through
books and escaped the heat in the popular shop. There with her nanny, the
Desperate Housewives actress made friends with fellow shoppers
before leaving with a bag full of books. Next stop? Café Luxxe, where Cross grabbed a coffee and hung out for a while.
Equally caffeinated, Helen Mirren grabbed some java there before
popping into the nearby toy store.
Slipping into the role of Sporty Spice for one night, Geri
Halliwell threw out the first pitch at the Los Angeles Dodgers game – but not before getting support from her dancer boyfriend Ivan "Flipz" Velez. "They played catch on the sidelines so she could warm up,"
says an onlooker. After lobbing her successful pitch, Halliwell and her man
"locked up for a big hug," the onlooker tells us.
Leonardo DiCaprio, moving to the music and sharing a Departed reunion with his costar Mark Wahlbergat New York hot spot Upstairs. The two attended an afterparty following Entourage's season 5 premiere.

JEN ANISTON LOOKS 'INCREDIBLE' AFTER BREAKUP Blog
Jennifer Aniston, showing no outward signs of grief over her breakup with John Mayer, got a pleasant surprise this week when she ran into Friends pal Courteney Cox at an L.A. restaurant.
"It was a pretty amazing scene. Jen was sitting at a table inside and then suddenly Courteney Cox walked in," says a fellow diner at the Sunset Towers hotel's restaurant Thursday night. "They were pretty surprised and excited to run into each other."
Both appeared to be having business meetings over dinner, the diner says.
"Jen looked incredible," says the diner. "Let me put it this way, it made me doubt the breakup story, because there is no way she was blue in any way. She was really happy ... There was no hint of any problems."Since the breakup, Aniston, 39, and Mayer, 30, have settled back into their separate lives on different sides of the country, multiple sources tell PEOPLE.
Aniston has been spending time at her home in the Hollywood Hills, where she was visited several times by friend and yoga instructor Mandy Ingber.
Mayer, after arriving in New York on Thursday morning on a break from his current tour, kept an even lower profile. He is due back on tour in Charlotte, N.C., on Aug. 19.
The couple, who had been dating since April, split mutually, according to a friend of Mayer.
"They were going in different directions," says the friend. "He's at the height of his career and very focused, different things are important to them both right now."

Mary Kate Olsen, lightening her locks at Neil
George Salon in Beverly Hills (where Reese Witherspoon also recently went blonder!). The fashionista arrived for her appointment
sans makeup – and sporting a plaid shirt, loose white T-shirt and
gladiator sandals. Her touch-up was just as low-key – "her usual blonde highlights," an observer tells
us. Also at the salon that day: Amanda Peet. Courteney Cox Arquette and Brittny Gastineau, waiting (separately!) for their cars at the valet
station of L.A.'s Sunset Tower Hotel. The former Friend was with a friend,
and the two had just finished dinner, chatting as they said their goodbyes.
They're hitting the road with their beaus! Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, hanging out in the green room
and on the side of the stage as Good Charlotte rocked the House of
Blues Orlando. Also in the house: former 'N Sync member Chris Kirkpatrick. Jay-Z, popping into FAO Schwarz in New York for a little
shopping with his nephew.
Dennis Quaid, graciously posing with female fans at the
Hideout in Santa Monica. The actor hung at the cozy bar with a male friend
– and they were "just two guys throwing a couple back and having a
good time," an observer tells us.
Eva Longoria Parker's Hollywood
restaurant Beso drew in the stars this week. On Wednesday evening, the
Desperate Housewives actress mixed it up with everyone from Emmy Rossum to Kathy Griffin and Janice Dickinson.
Longoria Parker sent over a free dessert to Griffin just before Dickinson
made a beeline for the reality star, exclaiming, "I want to go lick Kathy
Griffin's face!" She didn't, but the comedian still looked shellshocked
after their tête-à-tête.

KATIE HOLMES TO GUEST STAR ON ELI STONE Blog
Katie Holmes is returning to her small screen roots with a guest-starring role on one episode of Eli Stone this fall, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The executive producer of the ABC show, Greg Berlanti, also worked on Dawson's Creek, which made Holmes a star in the late '90s.
(See '90s TV Stars: Then & Now.)
Holmes, 29, has been staying in NYC rehearsing for her Broadway debut in Arthur Miller's All My Sons. The play premieres October 16 and the actress will co-star in the production for 16 weeks.
"Katie's not a celebrity type," the play's producer Eric Falkenstein has said. "She's done brilliant work in films like Pieces of April and The Ice Storm."
(See photos of Katie Holme's hairstyles.)
Holmes is the latest celeb to sign-on for a fall guest role: Nicole Richie will appear on Chuck, Courteney Cox on Scrubs, Mary-Kate Olsen on Samantha Who? and Mary Tyler Moore on Lipstick Jungle.
