ANGELINA JOLIE: I FELL IN LOVE WITH BRAD WHEN HE WAS STILL WITH JEN Blog
Angelina Jolie reveals she and Brad Pitt fell in love on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith - which Pitt filmed while still married to Jennifer Aniston.
Relive Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston happier days.
"Not a lot of people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love," Jolie, 33, says - referring to wanting her kids to see the flick - in the New York Times.
See Brad and Angelina's most romantic moments.
One sight she's not ready for her six children to see? Racy internet pictures of herself!
Jolie says she worries, "[Maddox will] look up my name and see some kind of sexy pictures, or read a story about himself that isn't true.
"There's a lot we're going to have to explain to them about how public their family is," Jolie adds.
Check out adorable photos of Angelina's kids.
For now, the kids look at mom and dad as nerds, Jolie says.
"What's going to be funny is when they think Mom and Dad are a little bit cool, because right now, we're not cool Mom and Dad," she says. "Even video games, you know, it's: 'Mom, you can't play this. You don't know how.'
"Oh, they all think I can't do anything, that I'm just there to snuggle with. But the other day, Madd said, 'Can you do a cartwheel?' and I said, 'Yeah I can.' And he was like, 'Wow, Mom,'" she says.
"And I thought 'Oh, yeah. I can do some things. You wait. You'll find out. I'm capable," Jolie says.
The actress says she picks her movie roles based on her kids' schedules.
She asks herself, "Who's in school at that time? How can I be sure I don't do too many long hours? Can the three youngest be on the set every day?
"As long as I can still be with my family, it's fun. But I only want to do that, and I'm not looking for anything else," she says.
For inspiration, Jolie looks to her own mother, who died in January 2007.
"My mom, she was a very, very soft woman. It was hard for her to yell, or even curse," Jolie says. "But when it came to fighting for her kids, she found a strength she didn't always know she had.
"And there's a part of [Changeling character] Christine that I connected to her," Jolie adds. "I kept pictures of my mom in little purses" that she totes in the movie.
Changeling opens in limited release Oct. 24.

JOHN MCCAIN GETS GRILLED BY DAVID LETTERMAN Blog
David Letterman and John McCain finally came face to face on the Late Show Thursday night - three weeks following the Republican's last minute cancellation.
"Can you stay?" joked Letterman as the Presidential nominee took a seat.
Earlier, McCain called off the show because he said he needed to get back to Washington, D.C. urgently to help with the financial crisis. Instead, he appeared on Katie Couric's Evening News.
"I screwed up," admitted McCain. Letterman said he felt like an "ugly date."
See John McCain and Sarah Palin on the campaign trail.
McCain took no chances of missing the show this time around. When bad weather grounded his campaign plane in Philadelphia, he rented a helicopter to get to NYC.
The two continued to spar.
"It's not the time to raise anybody's taxes - except yours," McCain told Letterman. "I guarantee you if I become president, I'll do it. First executive order."
McCain also revealed Sarah Palin may appear on Saturday Night Live alongside impersonator Tina Fey.
"Probably get more of an audience than our debate did," he joked.

KATIE HOLMES 'VERY, VERY EXCITED' AFTER BROADWAY DEBUT Blog
Katie Holmes made her much-anticipated Broadway debut Thursday night, sharing the stage with respected Broadway veterans John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson. As if that weren't challenging enough, she also had to tackle the high-drama of Arthur Miller's All My Sons. So, was she nervous?
"I was very, very excited!" Mrs. Tom Cruise told PEOPLE after taking her bow. "We had my whole family. Tom's whole family. Friends flew in. It's exciting."
Those friends included Jada Pinkett Smith and Patricia Clarkson, who costarred with Holmes in the movie Pieces of April. Barbara Walters, Blythe Danner and Isabella Rossellini also filled out the star-studded audience.
After her performance – which Cruise's mother, Mary Lee Mapother, declared, "Fantastic!" – Holmes chatted exclusively with PEOPLE: PEOPLE: The show has been in previews for weeks. Did it feel different onstage tonight?
KH: There was definitely a lot more energy. The whole cast, we all got there about an hour and a half [early] and we had gifts for each other and we were running up and down the steps .... It felt like Christmas.
PEOPLE: Is Tom supportive?
KH: He comes [to the theater] a lot. He came to the dress rehearsal. I was so nervous, and I saw him out there, and he made me feel so much better. Every time he's there, I just feel like it's going to be okay.
PEOPLE: Is it difficult balancing your theater work with being a mom?
KH: It's a great schedule, because [Suri and I] get to spend the whole day together and then I go and do the play. Then I come home and we play some more!
PEOPLE: And Suri had her own dressing room at the theater?
KH: Yeah, we have a dressing room that is transformed into a playroom. It has a little piano.
PEOPLE: First motherhood, then a marathon, and now your Broadway debut. What's your next big challenge?
KH: Thanksgiving!

FROM TINKERBELL TO TACO BELL: A CHIHUAHUA HISTORY Blog
It is official: the world has gone to the dogs – little, tiny, cute Mexican dogs.
While the surprise success of Beverly Hills Chihuahua, which has been No. 1 at the box office for two straight weeks, has thrust the bug-eyed breed into the spotlight, they have a long and storied history as one of Hollywood's favorite breeds. From Bit Bit to Bruiser, PEOPLE.com walks you though Hollywood's Chihuahua Hall of Fame:
Tinkerbell Hilton: The OBHC, or Original Beverly Hills Chihuahua, is the tiniest Hilton who has more accessories than most Park Avenue heiresses, has her own unauthorized biography and was even the subject of a kidnapping scare when she went missing in August 2004. Luckily, the dog was reunited with owner Paris Hilton after a week. "She is like a child to me," Hilton said at the time.
Gidget, the Taco Bell Chihuahua: With her bulging eyes and infectious catch phrase "Yo quiero Taco Bell!" Gidget helped kick off the chihuahua craze with a series of commercials that ran from 1997 to 2000. Befitting her trailblazing status, she had a great later career role as Bruiser's mother in 2002's Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde, before dying of cancer three years later.
Bit Bit Spears: Few creatures have lived a more charmed life than Britney Spears's canine companion. In her prime, the dog had her own room, complete with pintsized furniture, and was once treated to a $180 steak at Picasso Steak House in Las Vegas. While no longer a constant presence under Britney's arm or on her website, Bit Bit is said to be living out her dotage in the actress' Malibu estate.

DAVID DUCHOVNY & TéA LEONI SEPARATED 'FOR SEVERAL MONTHS' Blog
David Duchovny, who recently left rehab for sex addition, and wife Téa Leoni released a statement Wednesday saying they have been separated for some time.
"In light of continuous speculation over the lives and marriage of Tea Leoni and David Duchovny, the couple has confirmed that they have in fact been separated for several months," the statement says. "The couple had hoped to keep this separation private for the sake of their children."
Duchovny, 48, has been married to actress Leoni since 1997. They have two children, daughter Madelaine West, 9, and son Kyd, 6. The actor voluntarily entered rehab last summer "for the treatment of sex addition," he said in a statement issued in August.
Earlier this month, Duchnovny had "successfully completed the rehab program," his lawyer said. Duchovny was then spotted with Leoni at the Czech Street Festival in Manhattan.
The separation statement was released by reps Annett Wolf and Evelyn Karamanos.

MOVE OVER TINA FEY: JOSH BROLIN TO PLAY 'W' ON SNL Blog
Actor Josh Brolin, who plays George W. Bush in the new bio pic W., is expected to impersonate the president when he hosts Saturday Night Live on Oct. 18.
"Expect a lot of fun and some surprising moments," Brolin told PEOPLE at the W. premiere Tuesday night in New York City. "There’s a good chance that W. [himself] may appear in a skit," he added coyly. "You’ll have to watch to find out."
Brolin, 40, who mastered the president's Texas twang and swagger, says the mannerisms have been hard to shake. Even his wife, actress Diane Lane and kids have told him to cut it out. "I found myself doing his hand gestures and my wife got mad at me a few times," Brolin says. "My kids keep telling me, 'Stop doing the voice thing, Dad. It’s not cool.' " – Paul Chi

Hilary Duff, sharing a sisters' night out with older sib Haylie at Teddy's inside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. The starlet and her sister – plus several friends – made an energetic arrival, and stayed revved up all night: Hilary danced provocatively to Britney Spears's new single, "Womanizer," and offered her girlfriends little lapdances, an onlooker tells us. And the sisters were in for the long haul, talking and dancing until the club closed. Also there: Frankie Delgado and Doug Reinhart. Kirsten Dunst, celebrating her friend Molly's birthday at Las Vegas's TAO Asian Bistro with champagne toasts, sushi and Kobe beef after hanging out the night before at Lavo. The actress surprised her pal with a cute round cake, which they dove into at the table. Full from dinner, they couldn't finish the dessert and took it back to their rooms for later.
Shanna Moakler, stealing a snuggle with Gerard Butler at the opening of Shin Korean BBQ in Hollywood. For much of the evening, the two – who know each other and are friendly, sources confirm – were spotted hanging out separately. Butler was mostly socializing with his male friends at the party, singing along to "Sweet Home Alabama" and, at one point, tending bar for partygoers. Later, though, the pair met up and "they were flirting innocently," a source tells us.
Ryan Seacrest, perching in a luxury suite to watch the L.A. Dodgers play the Philadelphia Phillies at L.A.'s Dodger Stadium. The American Idol host was with two women and "arrived early and bought some gear at a souvenir store," says an observer. Ever the worker bee, Seacrest was spotted typing away on his BlackBerry during key moments of the game. The night before, he held court at his regular table at Hollywood's Beso for a pal's birthday dinner at the restaurant, which he partially owns (along with Eva Longoria Parker). The Idol host even joined in a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday." Wonder how Simon would rate his performance?

JENNIFER ANISTON & JOHN MAYER RECONNECT FOR DINNER Blog
Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer shared a dinner at New York City's romantic Il Mulino last weekend, sources tell PEOPLE.
"They looked like they were having a fantastic time," says one observer of the Saturday night dinner. A source close to John adds, "They were hanging out this weekend."
Aniston, 39, in New York on business, returned to Los Angeles on Monday. The couple dined on oysters, ravioli with mushrooms and black truffles and fish.
Even though his summer romance with Aniston is now a thing of the past, Mayer, 30, according to a friend, is "someone who is known for staying connected to people he cares about and for staying friends with people he's been linked to."
Not everyone remains convinced a re-match might be a good thing. Says one pal: "If they are back together, Jen is not bragging about it to her friends."

CHRISTINA AGUILERA: 'WE'LL DEFINITELY HAVE MORE KIDS' Blog
Her first child, son Max, is just 9 months old, but Christina Aguilera is already thinking about baby No. 2.
"Absolutely, we'll definitely have more kids," she told PEOPLE at the Africa Rising concert in London Tuesday. How many? "I don't know. We'll play it by ear."
For now, the singer, 27, is enjoying her time with Max.
"I'm in love with my life," she says, although parting with her son to perform can be a drag. "But Mama has to work, Mama has to do a job." She adds, "I think it's important to share what I love – what makes me me – with my son. So. I change diapers and I breastfeed him and I play with him and then I work. I want to show Max everything about me."
Aguilera, who married music exec Jordan Bratman in 2005, says Max inspired her upcoming album. "It's all about color and life. Everything's a playground for him. Everything is color and fun."
How did Aguilera regain her body after baby? "You try," she says. "Working out. Trying to eat as healthy as possible. I'm a junk food queen."

HOLLY MADISON: HEF HAVING "LOTS OF FUN" WITH NEW TWIN GIRLFRIENDS Blog
Holly Madison isn't jealous that Hugh Hefner has already moved on with 19-year-old twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon.
In fact, she tells Usmagazine.com, she introduced the three after she directed their Playmate pictorial this summer.
"They're a lot of fun," she told Us Monday at the 2008 "Bowling for Boobies" bash in Hollywood. "I would never try to personally pick Hef's new girlfriend. I would like him to take his time and actually get to know somebody -- which he never does! But as long as he's having fun, I'm happy for him!
"He's having lots of fun with them -- and a lot of other people!" she added.
Do these stars look better after breakup?
Despite the girls' criminal backgrounds (they pleaded no contest in August to felony battery and were ordered to pay restitution), Madison, 28, told Us, "I think that they're in a good place right now and hopefully will stay out of trouble.
"They are a little young and definitely like to have a good time," she went on. "I just hope that they can take this new fame with a level head."
(Madison, for the record, said she is still single but is "having lots of fun going out with my girlfriends!" Asked if she's still living at the mansion, she told Us, "I haven't really changed anything. Like, as far as the whole transition thing, I just leave that up to Hef to talk about and make decisions on. Everything's good.")
Check out these sexy photos of celebs bonding with Playboy bunnies!
Kendra Wilkinson told Us over the weekend she wasn't surprised Hef, 82, moved on so fast.
"I mean, Hef will always be Hef," she said at the Most Interesting Show in the World event in Hollywood on Saturday. "You can never change him. Hef will keep going on. He'll keep loving women, keep loving the big boobs and blondes.
Remember when these stars posed topless?
"But it's very rare to get a good batch like Holly, Bridget and I. I don't think they'll be any better than us."
She added, "I'll always be there for him. We're all still friends. Nothing is going to change that."
Tell Us: Do you like Hef better with the twins -- or Holly?

CAUGHT IN THE ACT! Blog
Days before showcasing her clothing line at Los Angeles Fashion Week, Lauren Conrad stopped into West Hollywood's Warren Tricomi salon for a hair tune-up. The Hills star had her extensions touched up and her color done. "She was pretty chilled out considering she has a big show in a couple of days," says an observer. "If she was stressed out in any way, she was certainly not showing it." Conrad sat with her legs tucked in on her chair and chatted with everyone at the salon during her appointment.
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, taking in the Kings of Leon concert at The Joint in Las Vegas's Hard Rock Hotel & Casino from a table in the balcony. The couple arrived one song into the show – after having dinner at Nobu – and cuddled throughout the concert. Ever the fan, Timberlake even occasionally pumped his fists in the air.
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, treating 2-year-old son Kingston to some special mommy-daddy time at KB Toys in Sherman Oaks, Calif. The little guy seemed to have a blast in the store, pointing at and playing with all the toys. At one point, Kingston got a little wild with excitement, so Rossdale picked him up to calm him down. The family left the store with a Hot Wheels car and track set, and some musical instruments. The following day, it was off to La Brea Bakery in L.A. for breakfast, followed by a stop at Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in West Hollywood, where Kingston tried to push a wagon loaded with heavy pumpkins and clapped and cheered as other kids played in a straw maze.
Also at Mr. Bones over the weekend: Tobey Maguire and daughter Ruby, who turns 2 in November. Maguire's little girl found a tiny pumpkin she loved and "carried it all around the pumpkin patch," an onlooker says. And David Arquette hung out with daughter Coco, 4, who got her face painted, then made a beeline for the Jumpin' Pumpkin, where she bounced while her father tapped away on his handheld.
Shanna Moakler, enjoying a night out with a gal pal at new Hollywood lounge Bardot for Lo Hi Fi night. "Shanna was in great spirits," says an onlooker. "She looked like she finally got to breathe a little and relax." Moakler and her friend hung out at their table, and Moakler talked about how it was her first night out since she returned to L.A., a source tells us. And she must have been having a good time: Moakler bought her servers a round of lemon drop shots – and stayed at the venue until closing.

WHAT THE STARS THINK ABOUT JOLIE'S W COVER! Blog
Stars are praising Angelina Jolie's new W magazine cover.
The photo - taken by Brad Pitt - shows the actress, 33, apparently breast-feeding. Jolie is smiling, while a tiny hand is just visible at bottom of the frame.
See more of Brad Pitt's photos from the W magazine shoot.
"I mean, she's always pushing the envelope," Nicky Hilton tells Usmagazine.com. "If it were someone else, I'd be shocked, but with her, not really."
Check out Angelina Jolie's most intriguing red carpet moments!
Says Emmy Rossum, "It's really, really nice," adding that it's "totally not" shocking.
"There are women who [breast-feed] at restaurants," Rossum tells Us. "I mean, in a sense, it's a private thing, but on the other hand, it's a really intimate portrait that a boyfriend took of his girlfriend ... who cares?"
Echoes Rose McGowan: "Is it supposed to be shocking? I'm sorry, I think there's a lot more [controversial things] going on..."
Jamie Lynn Sigler hasn't seen the magazine yet, but she "can't wait - I hear it's beautiful. I'm sure it's great."
Sophia Bush tells Us she also "hasn't seen it ... but what's the deal big deal?
"Everybody has sex, everybody has a body. How many women are standing here right now and how many breasts do we have between us?" Bush continues. "There is no shocker there! It is a natural thing for a mother to nourish her child."

LACI PETERSON CHARITY EVENT FOCUSES ON LAUGHTER Blog
Nearly six years after her and her unborn child's murder stunned the nation, Laci Peterson was remembered Saturday night at a benefit in her Modesto, Calif., hometown that raised money for the Laci and Connor Search and Rescue Fund.
"I couldn't help but say yes," the event's host, CNN's Larry King, told Modesto's CBS13 about his participation.
The evening, titled "Laughing for Laci," featured comedians and was billed as a tribute to Laci's sense of humor, said her mother, Sharon Rocha, who organized the event.
"I loved the idea of doing that," Rocha told NBC11. "I thought, 'That's great.' It's uplifting, it's light and Laci loved to laugh." Added King: "That famous picture of her is laughing, and if we don't have laughter, boy, we don't have much."
To date, the Laci and Connor Search and Rescue Fund reportedly has raised nearly $200,000, with the money going to 37 organizations in 10 different states.
Providing Assistance"Our hope is that through providing this additional assistance, these agencies will be better prepared and equipped for search and rescue, and therefore be more successful in their efforts to safely return missing persons to their loved ones," the fund states on its Web site.
Laci's husband, Scott Peterson, was sentenced to death on March 16, 2005, for the December 2002 murders of Laci and their unborn child, Connor – whose remains he dumped into San Francisco Bay. Today, Peterson remains on death row in San Quentin Prison.
"I honestly don't know how people survive who don't know where their loved one is," Rocha told NBC11 in anticipation of this past Saturday's event. "I just feel everybody needs to be found and taken back to their loved ones, whether it's search and rescue or search and recovery. Everybody needs to go home."

JOHN MCCAIN'S MAKE-UP DATE WITH LETTERMAN Blog
Better late than never?
Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain is set to appear on The Late Show with David Letterman Thursday – less than a month after controversially canceling his last appearance at the last minute, the Associated Press reports.
The candidate bailed on his Sept. 24 interview, claiming he had to begin work immediately on the Wall Street bail-out. But instead, McCain appeared on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric.
After discovering McCain's other commitment, Letterman quipped, "Now I'm feeling like an ugly date." Clearly annoyed, the comedian spent several minutes ridiculing the Republican nominee on his CBS show.
"This is not the way a tested hero behaves," Letterman said. "Somebody's putting something his Metamucil."
Thursday's make-up visit will be McCain's 13th appearance on the Late Show, the A.P. reports.

TRAVIS BARKER: DJ AM IS "AN INSPIRATION" Blog
Three weeks after his tragic Learjet crash, Travis Barker is thanking friends and fans for support in a new post on his MySpace page.
He also blogs that he is in high spirits after seeing DJ AM - who, along with Barker, was the only survivor in the Sept. 19 crash.
"I got to see AM the other day. Seeing him after he was discharged was an inspiration," writes Barker. "I saw just how awesome the doctors' work here is, and got to see how well he is doing. I am so happy to see him doing well, and we are both so lucky and grateful that we are alive today."
As for his own recovery, Barker (who suffered second-and third-degree burns) says, "It's been a slow recovery process. I am coming up on the 7th of my surgeries Monday. Today I finally was able to move all my fingers on my right hand. Every step seems huge at this point, and I'm doing EVERYTHING I can possibly do to get back to my kids.
"Yes, I did start eating meat again, but if it helps me to be home holding my little humans sooner, then it's all worth it," writes the star, who has been a vegetarian for 25 years. "The staff here are all bomb! Dr. Grossman and his staff are the best. The BOSS Barbara, and nurses Betty, Jay, Emily, Julio, Lolita and Stephanie (with the best scrubs ever!) are all taking the best care of me.
"Despite any rumors you might have heard via my EX-wife Shanna Moakler, who I have not seen since the week I checked in, I've been treated amazingly well, both here in L.A. and in Georgia," says the rocker, who also posted photos from his hospital bed. "The hospitals I've been treated at are THE BEST."
His friends and family "have been amazing," Barker adds. "My pops has been with me ANY time I need him. My sisters, James, Skinhead Rob, Daniel, Hoover, Armen and, of course, Ricardo and Nicole have all shown amazing support. JD and Mark Hoppus both took the time to come visit and offer their support as well. Estevan Oriol even came in with a calendar."
Of his assistant Chris Baker, 29, and his security guard Charles Still, 29 (who perished in the crash): Barker writes: "Chris and Che were my friends. I would give up anything to have them here with us today, healthy and happy. To call them my employees does them such a disservice, as they were so much more than that. Chris was my best friend before anything else, and I can never put into words how much he will be missed. Che was an amazing person as well, and I was honored to have him in my life.
"I am simply amazed and will be forever grateful for all the support everyone has shown to Chris and Che's families," he says. "It's a testament to how many lives they touched in a positive way."
Before signing off, Barker writes: "I'm just counting the days until I can leave. I can't wait to get home to play drums with my son, and go for bike rides with my daughter. I can't wait to see the pictures from Landon's "Jack and Sally Nightmare Before Christmas" birthday party that we had for him today.
"I am bummed that I couldn't be there," he says, "but thank God I'll be around to see many, many more."
Barker recently opened up to Us Weekly, saying, "I'm just thankful to be alive."

ANGELINA JOLIE: "BARACK OBAMA WOULD BE GREAT FOR MY FAMILY" Blog
Angelina Jolie doesn't have a problem backing Democrat Barack Obama.
"Obama is fighting for international justice, he wants to intervene militarily in genocides abroad, and he wants to close down Guantanamo Bay," she tells the German edition of Vanity Fair. "They are things which could move me to vote for him, not his roots. Of course, an American president like Barack Obama would be great for my family."
See Barack Obama's family album.
Still, Jolie - whose father, Jon Voight, has endorsed John McCain - says just because Obama would be a good example for her family isn't "reason enough to vote for him."
Check out Barack Obama's biggest celeb supporters.
Despite living across the world (she flew back to Nice, France, this week), Jolie says, "I am very proud of being American, and all my children have got American passports.
"For me, our family is just what America is - a melting pot, a mixture of many different races and nations," she says. "My children should be proud of their Asian and African roots, but that in no way means [is] a lack of respect for the fact that they and their parents are Americans."
See adorable photos of Angelina Jolie with her kids.
As for her new twins, Jolie admits, "It's a damned arduous business, and we are often simply whacked out because it is twice as hard with two babies as with one.
"But it also makes for double the fun," she adds. "After we flew back from Europe, we were all suffering a bit from jetlag. We were all in bed early, but at half past four, they were awake and making a real racket.
"Brad took care of them. He said to me, 'Go back to sleep, you're back to work in the morning,' and moved into the kids' room with them. He is an
astounding father, full of devotion."
For the most part, the twins "have quite similar, stable rhythms," she says. "Every three hours they get hungry, then I have to satisfy them. But that’s OK, the two of them are totally sweet.
"When you see them, you think they were made for each other," Jolie continues. "They laugh together, they sniff each other, touch each other. It is beautiful."
The hardest part of her life these days?
Finding alone time with Pitt.
"Sometimes, at the end of the day, we try to retire to the bathroom to be undisturbed," she says. "But then [the kids] hear the water running and want to come in and, yet again, we are all together. But that doesn’t disturb us because they are great kids."
See Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's most romantic moments.
As the most famous woman in the world, Jolie says, "I would like to have more freedom, especially to have the chance to be more spontaneous with my kids.
"Would I like to be able to walk through the streets with my kids? Of course. Would I like to be able to wander around Manhattan and buy them an ice cream like other mothers? Of course. But it is not possible.
"On the other hand, every morning I wake up with the people who are the most dear to me in the whole world. That's why I don't feel isolated from that, which is important to me," she says. "It helps, of course, that Brad knows all about it, but he's experienced it even more than me. We often talk about it and try to make the best of things. But I am very grateful for our life and everything that we have."

ASHLEY TISDALE ON ZAC: 'I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE FUSS' Blog
Everywhere he goes, frenzied crowds of girls scream Zac Efron's name. But Ashley Tisdale isn't one of them.
"I've never looked at Zac that way because he's always been like a younger brother to me," the 23-year-old High School Musical star tells Britain's Daily Mail. "Girls go crazy over him, but I've just never been attracted to him in that way."
The problem? "I'm three years older than him," she says. "That makes a major difference when you are young."
And while she concedes that Efron – who turns 21 on Oct. 18 – is "definitely hot," Tisdale just can't see him as a heartthrob.
"He's a great actor, but I still don't understand what everyone's making the fuss about," she says. "The hysteria over him is all rather surreal." (Off screen, Tisdale has her own leading man – Jared Murillo, from the band V Factory.)
Best Friends ForeverStill, Efron is a good pal – and so is his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.
"With fame and success you do lose friends because of jealousy and competitiveness," she said. "It's different with Vanessa and me. Nobody else can understand what we've been through in the past couple of years."
That includes Hudgens' infamous photo scandal.
"She was very upset over the nude pictures," Tisdale concedes. "I don't talk much about that, but definitely I was supportive over the issue."
And even though they're both in the same industry – with acting and musical ambitions – Tisdale insists, "there's no competition between us."

ANGELINA: BRAD MAKES TRAVELING WITH KIDS EASY Blog
Ask any parent: traveling with children is no walk in the park. Yet Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt make their flying caravan of six kids – including 3-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne – look pretty darned easy.
Still, there is a downside to all this globetrotting.
"After the flight from Europe," Jolie told the German edition of Vanity Fair, "we were all suffering a bit from jetlag. Although we went to bed early, [the kids] were up at 4:30 a.m. goofing around."
After moving their brood from a chateau in the south of France to a palace in a park in Berlin, the family landed in New York last week for the premiere of her movie Changeling – then jetted back to France Wednesday. Jolie, 33, admits to having an expert travel arranger: "Brad took care of things. He just said, 'Go back to sleep, you have to work tomorrow,' and then went to the living room with the kids. He's an amazing father: totally devoted."
The Challenge of TwinsJolie calls caring for twins a challenge. "We're exhausted a lot, because it's twice as hard with two babies than with one," she says. "But it's twice as much fun, too."
That means watching them interact. "When you look at them, it's like they were made for each other," she explains. "They smile at each other, sniff each other, touch each other. It's just beautiful."
Even at their tender ages, they are each displaying distinct temperaments. "They're totally sweet. They already have completely different personalities. Knox is more the quiet one, very relaxed, while Viv is a little more aggressive and loud," she says.
And as for the inevitable question, "It's funny," Jolie admits, "Knox looks more like Brad and Viv more like me."

COUNTRY COUPLE MIRANDA LAMBERT AND BLAKE SHELTON DISH ON THEIR ROMANCE Blog
The secret to Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton’s successful three-year romance? The country stars don’t always get along.
"We just pick on each other all the time. But I think we have one of the strongest relationships that I've ever seen," Lambert tells CMT Insider.
"We can make it, being away for weeks at a time," she adds. "We have arguments on the phone, but five minutes later, we're saying, 'I love you,' 'See you in a week,' whatever it is. We really just are best friends."
When the couple aren't on the road – they kicked off their first tour together Oct. 3 – both live in Oklahoma, six miles apart.
"There's nothing easy about having a relationship doing what we do," Shelton, 32, tells the TV show. "But we just decided that as miserable as we are together, it's way more miserable when we're apart."
Explains Lambert, 24: "We have … an antagonistic kind of fun, competitive relationship. It's all fun, though. We really respect each other so much."
They also trade favors: Shelton babysits Lambert's dog Delilah, and she does his laundry – although admits she recently turned a few of his trademark plaid shirts pink "on accident."
So is marriage in their future? Although they've been together for three years, it "feels like 20," says Shelton. "I don't see me without her. Ever. I'll tell you that."

KELLIE PICKLER: I BATTLED A YEAR-LONG DEPRESSION Blog
Last year, Kellie Pickler battled depression and suffered severe reactions to anti-depressant pills after struggling with family problems and an emotional breakup from her boyfriend, hockey player Jordin Tootoo, the country star reveals in the new issue of PEOPLE, on sale Friday.
"Everything in my professional life seemed great," says the former American Idol contestant, 22. "But in my personal life, I was just crumbling."
Anti-depressants made her "crazy," she says, and the side effects forced her to quit the pills. At the same time, she watched her father – a convicted felon who had been released from prison soon after her Idol stint – spiral downward again and return to jail, while her mother, who abandoned her at age 2, unexpectedly reemerged.
"I was an emotional wreck," she says.
Her friendships with singers Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood, along with a new love – Nashville songwriter Kyle Jacobs – and writing songs for her new album (her self-titled sophomore effort was released Sept. 30) helped her find balance again.
"He makes me feel so good about being me," she says of Jacobs.
And while she says she's not ready for marriage, she looks forward to having a family of her own one day.
"I've always wanted to adopt," she says. "I wouldn't do it right now. I definitely have to get my priorities together first."
For more on Pickler – including how love and prayer played strong roles in her recovery – pick up the new issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday
