• Kate Bosworth, toasting the fifth anniversary of West Hollywood Italian eatery – and celebrity magnet – Il Sole
with a soiree at the restaurant. Dining on the patio, the actress celebrated at the Veuve Clicquot-sponsored bash with some of the restaurant's most
loyal clientele, including Courteney Cox Arquette, husband David Arquette and newly single Nicollette
Sheridan. Outside, Bosworth raved about the truffle pasta, and other diners feasted on steak and tomato salad.
• Meanwhile, the day before, Bosworth and British beau James Rousseau shopped for an external hard drive together at the Apple
store at The Grove.
• Jessica Biel, getting highlights at Neil George Salon in Los Angeles. Stopping in almost before closing time, the actress
brought a friend along as she got her usual treatment, an onlooker tells us. Earlier in the day, Amanda Peet stopped in for some highlights, too,
bringing along her daughter, Frances, 18 months, who ran around the salon.
• Looking radiant in a gray knee-length summer dress, Jennifer Garner picked up some kid-friendly gear for daughter Violet
inside Jenny Bec's on Santa Monica's Montana Avenue. The expectant actress brought along her
daughter, and chatted with fellow shoppers during the kid-friendly visit.
Violet was having fun, a source says, and wanted to play dress up in
the store, so Garner bought her a Snow White costume along with some books
and other toys.
• Also at Jenny Bec's: Marcia Cross, who flipped through
books and escaped the heat in the popular shop. There with her nanny, the
Desperate Housewives actress made friends with fellow shoppers
before leaving with a bag full of books. Next stop? Café Luxxe, where Cross grabbed a coffee and hung out for a while.
Equally caffeinated, Helen Mirren grabbed some java there before
popping into the nearby toy store.
• Slipping into the role of Sporty Spice for one night, Geri
Halliwell threw out the first pitch at the Los Angeles Dodgers game – but not before getting support from her dancer boyfriend Ivan "Flipz" Velez. "They played catch on the sidelines so she could warm up,"
says an onlooker. After lobbing her successful pitch, Halliwell and her man
"locked up for a big hug," the onlooker tells us.
• Leonardo DiCaprio, moving to the music and sharing a Departed reunion with his costar Mark Wahlbergat New York hot spot Upstairs. The two attended an afterparty following Entourage's season 5 premiere.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are the real deal.
"I think he finally met somebody that he wants to spend the rest of his life," Timberlake's long time friend Joey Fatone told Usmagazine.com at the Brother Jimmy's restaurant opening in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Sunday.
When asked if an engagement was the cards for the lovebirds, Fatone said, "You never know, but I don't know if it's the appropriate time right now."
Fatone added "You know what, I think he is just playing it by ear. If it ain't broke don't fix it."
Fatone will have a chance to catch up with Timberlake, 27, when Biel's former 7th Heaven co-star gets hitched to her fiance Michael Camero.

"We've all known Beverly for a long time so we got invited," Fatone told Us.
According to the L.A. Times, the ceremony will take place in Italy in October and Biel is a bridesmaid.
Biel, 26, is no rush to tie the knot.
“The actual idea of signing those papers and doing all this stuff ... I’ve never been someone who’s like, ‘I have to, have to, have to have it," Biel has said.

Meanwhile, also on hand was former NSYNC member Lance Bass who will appear on season 7 of Dancing with the Stars.
"I've been rehearsing for a couple weeks now," Bass told Us. "We have to learn two dances for the first week. We go live Sept 22."
And he's already seeing results: "In the two weeks, I've already lost five pounds."

As for his biggest competition, Bass (who is paired up with Lacey Schwimmer) says, "I haven't seen anyone yet, but I am assuming Toni Braxton will be really good. I think she is the front runner right now."

Bass also had good news about his friend Christina Applegate who chose to have both of her breasts removed after one was found to contain cancerous lumps.
"She is fully recovered. They got rid of it all," Bass tells Us.

performance at L.A.'s Hollywood Bowl. There with Justin Timberlake, the actress had forgotten her ticket for re-entry. Oops!
• The Radiohead show – the second of a two-night stand
– drew plenty of celebrity fans: Mary-Kate Olsen was
spotted, and Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl stuck around
for an afterparty at the outdoor venue. At the bash, Grohl drank a beer,
posed for pictures with fans and cracked everybody up. Keanu Reeves took in the show as well. And the night before, newlyweds Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were among the stars rocking out to
the British band.
• Renée Zellweger, leaving a generous tip following her burger lunch with a male friend at the Indian Wells Tavern
in Amagansett, N.Y. Zellweger also has been shopping while spending time in the Hamptons: She
stopped by Intermix and picked up a jersey dress designed by Stella McCartney.• Back from his appearance at the Olympics closing ceremonies,
David Beckham headed out for the night with some guy
friends at Villa in Los
Angeles. It might have been karaoke night, but the soccer stud didn't sing
– or even move to the music. He seemed much more interested in a quiet
night with his buddies.
• Nikki Sixx and girlfriend Kat Von D are still
going strong. The couple shared an early dinner at Pinched Tacos, a new
restaurant on L.A.'s Sunset Strip. The two sat on the patio and "seemed to
get along so well," a fellow diner says.
• Tiger Woods, working up a sweat at Equinox in New York. The golf star sported a knee brace – but worked out steadily on the elliptical. He left the gym in a hat and sunglasses – and looking very sweaty!

He's used to being the center of attention, but Justin Timberlake stepped aside Saturday night, letting girlfriend Jessica Biel enjoy her moment in the spotlight at a screening of her new movie, Hole in the Paper Sky.
"Justin arrived in a separate car and met her inside," says an onlooker at the Palm Springs International Film Festival's Short Fest. "He was saying how excited he was to be back in Palm Springs to see Jessica’s film."
Biel, who produced and starred in the film, arrived in a stunning one-shoulder Stella McCartney dress and was accompanied by the film's director, Bill Purple.Though Biel and Timberlake snuck out of the theater just before the film ended, the "couple sat together and watched the program of shorts." They were later seen at the Parker Palm Springs hotel celebrating with a group of friends.
While fans gushed over the surprise appearance by Timberlake, Biel had her own wave of attention earlier in the night. "Before heading into the theater, several of the Marines from the [nearby] base were volunteering and asked Jessica to pose in a photo," says the onlooker.

They broke up earlier this year, but Paula Abdul and her restaurateur ex-boyfriend JT Torregiani have been quietly reconnecting, a source close to them tells PEOPLE.
"They're taking it slow, testing the waters," says the pal of the pair, who were spotted catching a movie together in Sherman Oaks, Calif., last weekend. "They've gone on a few friendly dates."
The American Idol judge and the owner of several Hollywood hotspots dated for more than a year before splitting in May. A rep for Torregiani blamed their hectic work schedules for the breakup. But now that Torregiani has opened his latest venture, Beso – whose co-owners include Eva Longoria Parker – he has more free time and "wants to date her again," says the pal. "JT thinks she's a sweetheart. They have good chemistry."
A rep for Abdul, 46, was not immediately available for comment.
Earlier this year, Torregiani, 33, was in talks to possibly become ABC's next Bachelor. But he has decided to drop it, in part because he doesn't want to leave for three months to film the show. "And maybe," adds the source, "he doesn't need to look for love on TV when he's got Paula in his life."
While Abdul is busy prepping for Idol's eighth season, Torregiani is still working long hours at Beso. The Latin-themed restaurant and bar has celeb fans including Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony (who lingered over a late-night, three-hour dinner after his concert last week), and Justin Timberlake, who shared a quiet date night recently with his squeeze Jessica Biel.

Rogen also brought along his girlfriend writer Lauren Miller, who attended all the events with him, including his first stand-up act in more than 10 years at the Club Metropolis. • Mel Gibson, checking out Cirque du Soleil's Love with his wife, Robyn, and seven children at the Mirage in Las Vegas.
