Lindsay Lohan and girlfriend Samantha Ronson, attempting to stop into the laid-back Melrose Avenue watering hole
The Snake Pit. Alas, the couple's evening was cut short at the door. Why?
Lohan, 22, and Ronson, 31, were unable to produce ID – and the doorman
was forced to turn them away. Meanwhile, inside, Kirsten Dunst happily hung with her friends.
Diddy, sitting in the second
row at Madonna's Madison Square Garden concert alongside
Rosie O'Donnell and Michael Kors. The music
mogul, whose arm is in a sling, spent much of the show seated, texting away
on his iPhone. But when Madonna sang "You Must Love Me," Diddy leapt to his
feet and threw his hands – well, hand – in the air, screaming, "We
love you!" The rapper piped up again, laughing hysterically when one of
Madonna's flamenco dancers began tap dancing. And O'Donnell got some
attention, too: When Madonna fell into the lap of one of
her dancers, she looked over her shoulder and winked at her good friend.
Michael Phelps may stay mum about his personal life, but at
a bash celebrating New York's Bowlmor Lanes' 70th anniversary, the
Olympian's actions spoke volumes. While he bowled with a group of pals,
college friend (and petite brunette) Marina Katz never left his
side. In fact, the pair enthusiastically exchanged kisses on the cheek and
hugs whenever they scored strikes. Phelps also sat close to his friend,
keeping his arm around her.
Serena Williams isn't above a good bargain. The tennis
champ ducked into L.A.'s Beverly Center, stopping at Forever 21 with a
female friend and a teenage girl. "Serena wanted to take a look at an
accessories rack across the way and made sure to check in on the young girl
who was standing in line," says a fellow shopper. Apparently, a kiosk of
bangles and earrings caught Williams' eye.
MTV's bisexual bachelorette Tila Tequila took her party to
West Hollywood's Coco de Ville, grabbing a booth right in front of the
deejay, which she shared with Danity Kane singer D. Woods. Tila was in the mood to dance, though, and barely sat down all
night, getting busy to tunes like ZZ Top's "Sharp Dressed Man."
Just hours after Misty May-Treanor announced that an
injury was forcing her to leave Dancing with the Stars, much of the DWTS crew hit L.A. club Coco de Ville to celebrate ex-contestant Jeff Ross' DVD Jeff Ross No Offense: Live from New Jersey. While Cheryl Burke helped Ross blow out the candles on a sheet cake
at the Dewars White Label-hosted bash, pals Dane Cook, Lance Bass and former dancer partner Edyta Sliwinska gathered around to
serenade the funnyman with "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow."

KIRSTEN DUNST: I'VE GROWN UP SINCE REHAB Blog
For former child star Kirsten Dunst, life hasn't always been easy – but rehab has helped.
"Everybody in life goes through obstacles in different times of their life, and this year was my difficult time," Dunst told reporters at the How to Lose Friends and Alienate People press day in New York about her stint in rehab earlier this year. "It's part of life and it's just called growing up." Dunst, 26, checked into Utah's Cirque Lodge Treatment Center last February for depression and said she has gained perspective.
"What I have learned is if you make it out of this business and realize the whole bigger picture of it all, you are in a good spot," says Dunst. "It's just seeing what is important and the bigger things in life."
Keeping a balance between her private life and living in front of the cameras is something that the Spider-Man star strives for.
"It's not healthy to live that kind of life," she says. "I don't live in the spotlight and I don't live my life in front of the paparazzi. I live very comfortably and quietly as possible."
Who does Dunst look up to as a role model of healthy Hollywood living?
"There are plenty of people who have made it. I think Natalie Portman is quite smart and has made the transition."

Meanwhile in Chicago, diehard Chicago Bears fan Ashton Kutcher took in the game at Soldier Field with Demi Moore. The handsome couple sat next to legendary Bears hall of fame

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, grabbing a late-night treat at Pinkberry in Studio City, Calif.
Dressed in matching William Rast jeans and casual shirts, they "held hands

before walking away.
The "Bromance" is going strong! Brody Jenner, attracting lots of attention after arriving at West Hollywood nightspot Coco

KIRSTEN DUNST: 'NOW I LOVE ME' Blog
Kirsten Dunst says she's "learned a lot" after checking into rehab earlier this year for depression and is now in a different place in her life.
"Everyone goes through a hard time in their life," Dunst says in the October issue of Harper's Bazaar. "They just don't have to do it in front of tons of people and with our media the way it is. I did, and I'm lucky that I had the resources and the money to take care of myself."
She adds: "Now, I'm great."Though she hesitates to go into details about her stint at Cirque Lodge, a rehabilitation center in Utah, Dunst says prior to going to rehab she was "enormously co-dependent."
"I wasn't taking care of myself emotionally. I wasn't expressing my anger," she says. "I was making nice all the time."
She even got words of wisdom from an old pal – Tom Cruise. The actress keeps a plastic-framed copy of L. Ron Hubbard's Scientology Code of Honor in her home, which was recently given to her as a gift from her former Interview with the Vampire costar.
The 26-year old is not a Scientologist but appreciates the advice; something she can use as she develops her own projects, including a documentary called Why Tuesday? about the electoral process. She also stars in the upcoming comedy How to Lose Friends & Alienate People.
On the home front she's busy, too. The actress is selling her LA home and says she will be in her apartment in New York City, which she purchased in 2007, in a year. And her love life?
"Listen, I'm happy single or not single," she says. "Now I love me, so I'm okay."

KIRSTEN DUNST LAUGHS OFF JUSTIN LONG RUMORS Blog
Kirsten Dunst says rumors she is romancing Justin Long "are the funniest thing on planet Earth."
"I don't know him from Adam," she says in the October issue of Harper's Bazaar, per USA Today.
Despite being spotted a few times together this summer, Dunst, 23, insists, "I met him once and he and his friend were kind enough to walk me home. I've never seen him since."
Look back at Kirsten Dunst's love life.
She adds that she is still looking for The One.
"I can't wait to have kids one day," she says. "I want to have kids and a farm with lots of animals on a lake."
The actress also says she is doing "great" after seeking treatment for depression at Utah’s Cirque Lodge earlier this year.
Though she wouldn't get into too much detail (it'll be "blogged about for the rest of my life," she insists), she offers insight into how she ended up there.
"When you spend your entire life as a child actress, being told where to go and where to stand, you’re performing constantly for people," she says. "It definitely breeds the kind of person who's dependent on other people's approval.
See Kirsten and other child stars -- then and now.
"If I'd trusted myself and listened to myself all the times that I ignored myself, I would have been fine," Dunst says. "But everyone has to learn their lesson, and now I've got it."

He may be an Academy Award-nominated actor, but Ryan Gosling continues to moonlight as a deejay: The actor hit the turntables at L.A.'s Green Door, spinning during the hip lounge's weekly jazz night. The actor, who
arrived sans Rachel McAdams, chatted with fans, bopped
his head to the music and, later, checked out the live jazz. After the
band finished its set, Gosling resumed deejaying, sipping on bottled water
and playing songs by Michael Jackson and indie artist M.I.A. Still just friends? Kirsten Dunst, checking out
folk-rocker Meiko in concert at L.A.
club the Roxy with Drew Barrymore's ex Justin Long. The duo
must be big fans of the artist because they took in a second show
together at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach, Calif., the following night. The
friends were also joined by Long's brother, Christian, at one of the gigs.

BEN AFFLECK'S UNCONVENTIONAL CONVENTION WEEK Blog
Ben Affleck packed in so much time doing good at the Democratic Convention in Denver that it seems he barely had time for the main attraction – indeed, he and wife Jennifer Garner ended up catching Barack Obama's acceptance speech from their California home Thursday night.
"It's like a football game," Affleck, 36, told PEOPLE about the convention. "You go and you can hardly see the person, so you wished you would have watched it on TV."
As for where the time went in the Rocky Mountains, the actor – who's sprouting facial hair these days for his role in the movie "Extract, with Mike Judge – was packing 25-lb. boxes of food for America's Second Harvest, as part of a celebrity team that also included National Treasure's Justin Bartha. In a five-minute competition to see who could pack and wrap the most, Affleck's side whipped the Congressional squad that included Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin and Massachusetts Congressman Jim McGovern, 17 boxes to 15.
Affleck says he was drawn to Second Harvest two years ago after scouting film locations in a tough Boston neighborhood and discovering people forced to choose between food and housing or medical care.
"This is something people don't talk much about," says Affleck, "the 35 million people here in the U.S., including 9 million children, who are hungry."
Affleck also devoted time to poker – picking up a first-pace plaque in an event with the Poker Players Alliance to raise funds for Paralyzed Vets of America.
Not that his time was solely focused on packing food and poker. Both he and Garner hosted a table at the Impact Film Festival Party at 5 Degrees on Wednesday night, along with Forrest Whitaker, Kirsten Dunst and Bradley Cooper.
Later they moved on to an after-party at EXDO Event Center, where Kanye West played.

File this under wrong place, right time! Kirsten Dunst made it out to the Green Door's jazz night – but that's not where she planned on going.
The actress wandered into the Hollywood lounge thinking there was a party

friends. "She stayed listening to the jazz," an onlooker says. "She was

throughout the night. At one point, Conrad held her glass in the
air as she got down to tunes like Kanye West's "Flashing
Lights."
After setting up shop at L.A.'s Farmer's Daughter Hotel,
Charlize Theron met a group for dinner at TART, where the
