| LINDSAY LOHAN GETS POST-BREAKUP MAKEOVER Blog |
In the week since Lindsay Lohan's breakup with Samantha Ronson, the actress dyed her hair and got a tattoo – but her mood suggests she hasn't washed that girl right out of her hair.
On Tuesday, Lohan, 22, accompanied by her younger sister Ali, went to Shamrock Social Club in West Hollywood for a new tattoo. The next day, Lohan made another change by going back to her roots: She stopped by the Byron & Tracey Salon and dyed her hair back to her trademark red.
Later Wednesday night, the actress dined with family, including mother Dina, at Nobu in West Hollywood. The group – who arrived in town to support Lohan through her breakup – dined late into the night in a corner of the main dining room.
Despite the drama swirling around her, Lohan, while appearing frantic at times, was friendly to those who stopped by her table to say hello. She chatted with her mother and sister, all exiting the restaurant around midnight.

Two days after tearfully opening up to Us Weekly, Lindsay Lohan was spotted getting a new tattoo.
The actress -- who told Us her life was "absolute hell" after getting dumped by Samantha Ronson -- was all smiles at midnight Wednesday as she arrived at the Shamrock Social Club tattoo parlor (the same spot where she and Lily Allen got matching "Shhhh" tattoos on their fingers). She patiently waited in line with her 15-year-old sister Ali before she got her wrist inked. She left around 3 a.m.

She showed off her new body to Rumer Willis Wednesday night at West Hollywood's Nobu, where she dined with her mom Dina and Ali.
Lohan wasn't as friendly with Bromance star Frankie Delgado -- who also tried to cozy up to Rihanna last month at a Las Vegas pool party.
Lohan seemed uninterested as Delgado attempted to give her an awkward smooch on the cheek (he ended up kissing her hair instead).

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson have broken up as many as five times since December, usually after nasty fights, only to reunite amid Lohan's assurances on MySpace that all's well.
So will the latest split – the first that Lohan has confirmed – be for good?
"It changes every five seconds," a friend of Lohan's tells PEOPLE. "It is up in the air with them. You never know" The friend, who spoke to Lohan this week, says, "She's in pain and she's alone and feels like the world is against her. She doesn't live an easy life. She has always been in the spotlight. She doesn't know how to live without it but it would be nice if she did for a little."
Lohan's father Michael Lohan, 48, tells PEOPLE his daughter is coping with the breakup by spending time with her mother and sister in Los Angeles. "Dina and Ali are out there with her," says Lohan.
Lindsay, 22, and Ronson, 21, broke up after Lohan was banned from a party Friday hosted by Ronson's sister Charlotte. "We are taking a brief break so I can focus on myself," Lohan told E! news.
Lohan's friend says it won't be easy for either. "I know she loves Samantha and Samantha has loved Lindsay for many more years. From before they even got together – Samantha wanted to have Lindsay in her life," the friend says.
But the friend adds: "Whether [Ronson] is right for her now, I don't know. They both need to be separate for a while. She just needs some space."

Kim Kardashian doesn't mind being the butt of Eminem's joke.
The reality star is one of many celebrities the rapper pokes fun at in his new video, "We Made You," from his upcoming album Relapse.
"I just saw Eminem's new video for "We Made You" and he totally spoofs me!!" Kardashian says on her blog. "It was a total surprise to me because I had no idea he was going to talk about me in the song."
In the video, an actress playing Kardashian shows off an exaggerated posterior over dinner at a restaurant. The character eventually meets a Fargo-like fate in a wood chipper (which converts her to cash)."I think this video is so funny! I am a huge Eminem fan and find it flattering that he would rap about me," says Kardashian. "He's a bit harsh about some other celebrities, but you just have to let it go and have a sense of humor."

After splitting with Lindsay Lohan over the weekend, Samantha Ronson and her family inquired about obtaining a restraining order against an unidentified person on Monday, PEOPLE has confirmed.
"On Monday, April 6, 2009, at approximately 5 p.m., members of Samantha Ronson's family came to the Beverly Hills Police Department," a police spokesperson says. "They were given information for the process of obtaining a restraining order which will be administered at the Santa Monica Superior Courthouse."
It's not clear whom the restraining order would be against. But on Friday, Ronson and her family blocked Lohan from the "I Heart Ronson" bash at Bar Marmont, an event celebrating Charlotte Ronson's clothing line. "Lindsay was banned from the event and was trying to enter from all ends," a source tells PEOPLE. "Sam did not want her there."Since their breakup, Ronson, 31, and Lohan, 22, have both sought support from family. Sources tell PEOPLE that Ronson's family hopes this time, the break will be for good, while those close to Lohan say the actress needed some time away from her girlfriend to focus on herself and her business ventures.
Still, another source says that Ronson and Lohan "are totally communicating," though they have not been spotted together.
Ronson was in Las Vegas on Monday where she deejayed at Prive as part of her regular monthly gig. "She seemed really happy last night, a lot happier than she did the last time she played," a source at the club says, noting that Lohan surprised her then-girlfriend during her deejay set in March.

Lindsay Lohan and her celebrity deejay girlfriend Samantha Ronson have split – and this time, Ronson's family hopes it sticks, a source tells PEOPLE.
"Sam's family has made her swear that it's really over," a friend of Lohan and Ronson's tells PEOPLE. "They are giving her all the support they can to keep her away from Lindsay."
Adds another source close to Ronson: "Lindsay is going to try and twist the situation in her favor, but Sam clearly left her, not the other way around."
Lohan herself spoke out on Monday telling E! news, "We are taking a brief break so I can focus on myself."
Meanwhile, Lohan has reportedly written several messages on her private Twitter page alleging Ronson's infidelity and drug use led to their breakup. In one message, the actress wrote, "You broke my heart. Now go away. I loved you."Locked OutThe on-again off-again pair have not been spotted publicly together in recent days, while Lohan has been a fixture on the L.A. scene, stopping into Chateau Marmont with her sister Ali on April 1, and even jumping on stage to sing along with Lily Allen during the British pop star's concert the following night at the Wiltern.
Over the weekend, Ronson changed the locks on her house, a friend of the pair confirms. "Sam changed the locks on her house," the source tells PEOPLE. "Lindsay moved her stuff out as much as she could. She's basically totally out of the house as far as her stuff and she's not living there anymore."
Adds the source: "Lindsay was pretty devastated."
Not Invited to the PartyThis weekend, Lohan attempted to get into the "I Heart Ronson" bash at Bar Marmont in West Hollywood – an event celebrating Charlotte Ronson's clothing line and deejayed by Samantha Ronson.
"Lindsay was banned from the event and was trying to enter from all ends," says a source. "Sam did not want her there."
The next night, Lohan hit up other hot spots including the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. According to a paparazzo, who spotted the star at McDonalds later in the night, "Lindsay kept hiding her face in her hands … One second she would scream that we were scaring her and the next she started rambling about how much she loves Samantha."

A locksmith was spotted at the Ronson's mansion -- where Lohan has lived for the past six months -- on Saturday afternoon.

A source told Usmagazine.com Friday they broke up for good.
"This time, Sam means it," the source said.
The couple -- who first debuted their relationship in May 2008 at the Cannes Film Festival -- got into a fight Friday night at a party Samantha threw for her fashion-designer sister Charlotte Ronson at West Hollywood's Bar Marmont.

Lohan disputes there was any drama, despite multiple sources, witnesses and her Twitter page telling Us otherwise.

Lohan has denied split rumors in the past.

In December's Harper's Bazaar, Lohan declared her love for the celeb deejay.
"She's a wonderful person and I love her very much," she said.

Miley Cyrus vows she won't end up like Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan.
"The last thing I ever want to do is disappoint my parents," she tells May's Glamour. "My mom's dad died when she was 18, and if something ever happened to one of my parents, I'd want them to go knowing I made them proud. I think it's selfish to go out partying all the time, especially if you have little ones [in your family]. I have a 9-year-old sister, and I don't want her to go to school and have people make fun of her for it."

The peer pressure can be hard to avoid.
"At one of the very first awards shows I ever did, there was a bottle of vodka in my gift bag," she says. "No one cared that they were giving this to a 12-year-old."

The 16-year-old also makes no apologies for dating 20-year-old model Justin Gaston, whom she met through her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, on the Hannah Montana set.
"I don't feel like I'm doing anything wrong, and I'm ready for people to accept it," she says. "My fans already accept it — they just want me to be happy. And I haven't been that happy in a few years ... working so hard, moving to L.A. from Nashville, going through a bad breakup [with Nick Jonas]. I'm finally happy again, and I think that is reflected in my music and my work."
Adds Cyrus, "So honestly, I don't feel like there's anything to hide. And I love him so much I don't really care."

Of attacks about her body, she says, "I think it's lame, because it will eat at you forever. I've been at photo shoots where I've tried something on and said, 'Oh my gosh, why don't these fit?' But I'll never be a 6-foot-tall, 95-pound model; I'm meant to have a little more meat on my bones. One thing that bugs me is people who say, 'Miley really needs to lose some weight,' or, 'She got her boobs done.' I did start out really skinny, but you're not going to have boobs when you're 12 years old. I'm like, what are you talking about — let me grow!"

Asked where she sees herself in 10 years, the teen replies, "Hopefully I'll be settled: making movies, living in a house, maybe even married. I think my mom did everything pretty close to perfect, and I want to be the cool mom that the kids run home to."
For now, she says, "I'm still learning who I am... I definitely feel like I know myself more than I ever have, but I don’t feel rushed to figure myself out. I have all the time in the world to do that."
When in doubt, she can always look to Jennifer Aniston or Angelina Jolie - two of her role models.
Of Jolie, Cyrus says, "At a premiere she was wearing a pantsuit — what woman throws that on and looks smoking hot? She's also changed every couple of years, going from wild child to being a mom and having a normal life."
"And Jennifer Aniston bounced back after her divorce," Cyrus adds. "She could have gone crazy with so many different guys, but she didn't. If anything like that ever happens to me, I'm like, Pull a Jennifer, Miley! She is so classy."

Kim Kardashian's got nothing to hide – even if magazine editors and the public disagree, she says on her blog.
"So what: I have a little cellulite. What curvy girl doesn't!?" the reality star, 28, writes on her blog in response to a brouhaha in which a photo of her for Complex magazine was accidentally released on the Internet before editors realized their mistake and quickly replaced it with the official photo of her.
The official picture had been retouched to slim
down her famously zaftig figure. But they didn't make the switch quickly enough. The original photo was snatched up and almost immediately turned into Internet fodder, with some Web sites even showing animation comparing the original photo with the touched-up version.
Kardashian – seldom shy about showing off her body – isn't fazed, saying that retouched photos are standard in the industry.
"How many people do you think are photoshopped? It happens all the time!" she writes, later adding, "I'm proud of my body and my curves and this picture coming out is probably helpful for everyone to see that just because I am on the cover of a magazine doesn't mean I'm perfect."
And Kardashian even finds a silver lining in what would be a black cloud for most Hollywood types.
"This all motivates me to stay in the gym because my goal this year has been to get in better shape and tone up!" she writes. "Hard work pays off!"

Lindsay Lohan got some reel bad news this week: Her new movie, Labor Pains, is headed straight to cable.
The film's production company, Nu Image/Millennium Films, has confirmed that the comedy will premiere on ABC Family in July 2009. It will be released on DVD a month later.

Lindsay Lohan has a message for her critics: Back off.
The much-scrutinized star, 22, is speaking out about her sobriety and her relationship with girlfriend Samantha Ronson, among other things.
"They need to stop saying we're fighting," Lohan tells E! News regarding reports about her romance with the 31-year-old deejay.
"People telling lies about me to her and all this garbage. I'm really a good person and I have a good heart and just want to work," says Lohan. "The only reason I go to clubs is to hear Samantha spin or be normal."The actress, who briefly had an arrest warrant issued for her, also urges people not to believe everything they read.
"I don't drink, I don't do drugs and I don't lie," she said. "I love to act and write and be creative, and I want to help people by playing characters that can send a positive message out to whomever may need it."
The actress, who recently dished about wanting to work with Seth Rogen, says she is trying to tune out all the chatter about her personal life and focus on her career.
"I move forward and I change. Life's too short not to. If people would just leave my personal life alone – because it's really not that interesting – then I could land a great role. But all the sicko fans and the noise is so distracting."
And the star still has many goals she wants to accomplish. "I'd like to have my own charity, do work overseas, be in Oscar-nominated films, write movies, produce movies/shows/videos, design cloths, make music, write books," she says. Lindsay Lohan is blaming her lack of work on her fans.
"If people would just leave my personal life alone -- because it's really not that interesting -- then I could land a great role, but all the sicko fans and the noise is so distracting," she complains to E! News.
Lohan -- who admitted she was nervous about paying her mortgage after not appearing in a movie since 2007 -- recently fought a warrant for her arrest related to her August 2007 guilty plea of driving under the influence of cocaine, for which she served 84 minutes in jail.

"My past is my past and it's been a long one, but I'm growing more and learning more day by day. I'm not the same person and I don't make the same mistakes," she insists. "I move forward and I change. Life's too short not to."

Lohan continues: "I just want to live the dream that I've worked so hard for since I was 4 years old...I'd like to have my own charity, do work overseas, be in Oscar-nominated films, write movies, produce movies/shows/videos, design clothes, make music, write books, etc."
"It's all possible -- if people would just stop judging me and accusing me and making me out to be this aloof, spoiled, ungrateful and unprofessional person that I am not and could never be," she goes on.

Lindsay Lohan -- who hasn't appeared in a movie since 2007's I Know Who Killed Me -- says she's looking for a job.
"It's scary when you realize, 'Oh my God, I'm not working. And I have a house to pay for now.'… and there's been some things I've really wanted to do," she says in April's Nylon.

"Like the one movie I've wanted to do for so long is Alice in Wonderland [directed by Tim Burton]," she continues. "But, um, that didn't work out… it is what it is."
The 22-year-old actress -- who recently fought an arrest warrant, which was recalled -- goes on: "[Producers said] 'You're not right for the part, and that's it.' That's how I like to hear it...I can take it, I'm a big girl. Obviously, you don't want me. I don't want to do something that somebody doesn't want me to be involved in anyway."

But Lohan says she's "talking to a lot of people right now" -- or at least trying to.

| STARS PAY TRIBUTE TO NATASHA RICHARDSON Blog |
As Broadway prepares to dim its lights Thursday night in her memory, the shock and sadness over Natasha Richardson's untimely death is still settling in among the theatrical and filmmaking communities, with reactions pouring in from both sides of the Atlantic from several generations of fellow performers, including Judi Dench, Jane Fonda and Lindsay Lohan.
"She had an incredibly luminous quality that you seldom see, and a great sense of humor," remembers Dench, who costarred with Richardson in a 1987 TV production of Ibsen's Ghosts. "I thought she was a really great actress and seemed to simply shine in both film and theater."
Of the 45-year-old Richardson's bloodlines – Vanessa Redgrave, of the theatrical Redgraves, is her mother, while her late father was Oscar-winning Tom Jones director Tony Richardson – Dench, 74, noted, "It's always difficult if you have parents in theater, it puts a very strange pressure on the children. I have no doubt [great work was to come]. It's been so shocking, really shocking – I hope everyone leaves the family alone to pick up the pieces." Jane Fonda, who costarred with Vanessa Redgrave in 1977's Julia, for which the latter won an Oscar, was moved to express "utter sadness" on her personal blog. Recalling Richardson, Fonda, 71, writes, "I first met her on the set of Julia. She was a little girl but already beautiful and graceful. It didn't surprise me that she became such a talented actor."
Hearing the NewsFonda, currently starring in the Broadway drama 33 Variations, had wanted to visit the New York hospital where Richardson was being treated, but her show schedule prevented her from providing "any comfort I could bring," she says, adding that "as the curtain went up [Wednesday] I heard the tragic news. It is hard to even imagine what it must be like for her family. My heart is heavy."
In an essay titled "Tasha" on his blog, actor Alan Cumming, 44, who costarred with Richardson in her Tony-winning performance as Sally Bowles in the 1998 Broadway revival of the musical Cabaret, writes, "The term 'life force' seems trite but that is what she was: a woman who powered through life and fascinated everyone she encountered. I have been thinking about the times I spent with her since I heard the news of her tragic accident, and the strongest memory I have is of her laughter, her unmistakable throaty laugh. I think that's a great way to remember someone."
In a statement released to PEOPLE, film (Revolutionary Road) and stage (Cabaret) director Sam Mendes, 43, said, "Natasha combined the best of Redgrave and Richardson: the enormous depth and emotional force of a great actor on the one hand, and the intelligence and objectivity of a great director on the other. She was a one-of-a-kind, a magnificent actress."
'An Amazing Mother'On a personal level, Mendes said, "She was also an amazing mother, a loyal friend and the greatest and most generous host you could ever hope to meet. It defies belief that this gifted, brave, tenacious, wonderful woman is gone."
Not only was Richardson a devoted parent to Michael, 13, and Daniel, 12, her two sons with husband Liam Neeson, 56, but she was also something of a surrogate mother to her "daughter" in 1998's The Parent Trap, Lindsay Lohan. "She was a wonderful woman and actress and treated me like I was her own," says Lohan, 22. "My heart goes out to her family. This is a tragic loss."

For now, it's keeping it on with the Kardashians.
The three TV reality star sisters – Kim, 28; Khloe, 24; and Kourtney, 29 – will not be appearing nude together in a spread in Playboy.
"Although we would be flattered," blogs Kim, "no one has even asked us, so I don't know where this rumor has sparked from."
Of course, Kim has already disrobed for Playboy's December 2007 issue, and she does see the benefits of making it a family affair.

Kim Kardashian is coming to Lindsay Lohan's defense amid speculation that the troubled star is spiraling out of control – yet again.
Kardashian's concern follows a weekend for Lohan, 22, in which she was issued a short-lived arrest warrant and witnessed the arrival of police at girlfriend Samantha Ronson's home on Saturday after a loud disturbance at the home led to a broken window.
"It's so sad that there's such an invasion of privacy, with camera people, cops and paparazzi outside their home," Kardashian, 28, told PEOPLE Monday. "I mean, when have you not thrown something when you're mad?," says Kardashian. "Everyone has to admit that at one time in their life, they've gotten so mad that they've thrown something, but maybe not necessarily breaking a window."
Can't people have an argument without everyone watching?," asks Kardashian, who recently came to the defense of another star, Jessica Simpson.
Why Blame Lindsay?The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star also scoffs at buzz that Lohan, who has had previous stints in rehab, is spiraling out of control. "Just because she had an argument, I don't think it means that she's off track and that everything is crazy. It's really just messed up that everyone blames her."
Her tips for coping with the scrutiny? "Focus on living your life and not the watchful eye everyone has on her," says Kardashian, who appears in a steamy pictorial with football player boyfriend Reggie Bush in the upcoming GQ. "I think everyone needs to let her breathe."
And as for some motherly advice, Kim's mom, Kris Jenner adds, "[Lindsay]'s got an amazing mom, a beautiful sister and brothers, so just stay close to your family anytime you're having struggles with anything."
"Everyone's concerned about Lindsay," says Jenner, "but leave her the heck alone and let her live her life."
