CLAY AIKEN LEFT 'SPEECHLESS' BY SUPPORTIVE FANS Blog
As fans of Clay Aiken react to the news that he is gay, the singer himself has written about his gratitude he feels about the support he's received so far.
"We'll 'talk' more later," Aiken, 29, writes on his Web site's message board. "but, suffice it to say, for the first time in recent memory, I am speechless. I'm so proud to know and love all of you."
He adds, "My family is so much larger than Parker, Jaymes, mom, Brett, etc. It extends to each of you. And I couldn't be more blessed." Aiken posted the message Tuesday night after a performance of Broadway's Monty Python's Spamalot, where he has resumed the role of Sir Robin. Fans flocked to the stage door after the show to see the star, but Aiken ducked out a different exit.
Gay groups applauded Aiken on coming out, while fan reaction across the Web has been one of both surprise but support.
As of midday Wednesday, the thread on clayonline.com had more than 2,200 messages, with many saying, "I will always love and support him no matter what. His sexual orientation makes no difference to me."
Some Mixed ReactionsStill, a few "Claymates" are taking the news hard. "I'm really struggling with this one," writes one fan on claymaniacs.com. A poster on clayaiken.com writes, "I'm only concerned that for those like me who will still support him no matter what may have some difficulty reconciling that he wasn't straight forward to begin with."
From the Clay Board, strollynn63 writes, "This is a gut wrenching day for The ClayNation. Somebody wake me up, I hope it's a dream," while NJ4ClayA admits, "I still love to hear him sing but I also feel he has now become like a Michael Jackson and it's a bit too weird!"
Aiken told PEOPLE he understands some fans may not react well. "[I want] to let people know that I've never intended to lie to anybody at all," he said. "But if they leave, I don't want them to leave hating me."

NE-YO HAS 'GOTTA STOP JUDGING BOOKS BY THEIR COVER' Blog
Call it a lesson learned for singer-songwriter Ne-Yo.
"I really gotta stop judging books by their cover," the R&B star, who recently logged studio time with Michael Bolton, tells PEOPLE. "I was expecting him to be really up tight. But he wasn't! He was so relaxed, cool and down to earth."
Ne-Yo, whose album Year of the Gentleman hits stores Tuesday, is getting his character flaw in check – he even issued an apology to pop star Lindsay Lohan in August for doubting her musical abilities. While Ne-Yo and Bolton spent several hours at a Los Angeles studio, the duo recorded "Call My Name." The song is "about a mistake that a woman has made in choosing between two guys, and he's letting her know 'I'm here regardless; call my name and I'm there,' " Ne-Yo says.
"We sat and talked about all kinds of stuff – how he's newly single, marriage, the road – he was honestly one of the cooler sessions I've been in this year."
Could the song's lyrics have any personal meaning for Bolton, who ended his engagement to Nicollette Sheridan in August?
"Kinda sort of," says Ne-Yo. "But we both agreed that we had been in that boat before."
Many CollaboratorsThese days Bolton is just one of many artists on Ne-Yo's list of collaborators. The in-demand star is still submitting songs for Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson's upcoming albums, too.
"[Michael] will tell me which ones he likes and which ones he doesn't like," says Ne-Yo. "He said, 'Just makes sure it's melodic and something relatable.' He likes a lot of today's music but equally doesn't like a lot of it."
"[Michael] says that if we were to take what Chris [Brown] does with his body and what I do with my voice, then that would be the ultimate Michael Jackson," Ne-Yo says.
Next up for the singer-songwriter? A collaboration with Marilyn Manson.
"I have no idea what it's gonna sound like and I have no idea what I can do for him, but I'm damn excited to figure it out and I know I have the capacity to do it."

PAM ANDERSON: I'M NOT DATING MICHAEL JACKSON! Blog
Pam Anderson is laughing off rumors that she is dating Michael Jackson.
"He just wants me to be in a video," she said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Tuesday when asked about their recent meeting. "My life is so interesting. My life is a blur."
Can you believe these stars hooked up?!
"So seriously, have you been hanging out with him?" DeGeneres asked.
"It happens ... skin cancer and Vicodin," she replied cryptically. "I don’t know ... I have a lot of interesting friends."
See unforgettable photos of Michael Jackson.
She added that she is living with ex Tommy Lee again, but when DeGeneres asked if she was "getting any," she sighed, "no."
While on the show, Anderson took time out to congratulate DeGeneres on her recent wedding to Portia de Rossi.
"I hope it works," she told her. "We lost another soldier. I’m impressed, and you guys are a gorgeous couple."
See Ellen and Portia's wedding photo.
When DeGeneres told her they'd be married exactly 27 days, Anderson (who famously split from Rick Salomon after two months) replied, "27 days is about halfway over for me."

At the end of her segment, Anderson stripped down to a bikini to play volleyball with DeGeneres' other guests, Gold Medal Olympic Volleyball duo Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh.

DAD-TO-BE PETE WENTZ SERENADES BABY Blog
Pete Wentz is already facing his first daddy dilemma. As a Chicagoan, will his baby with wife Ashlee Simpson root for the Cubs or the White Sox?
"If my dad has anything to say about it, I'm sure he will be a Cubs fan." the Windy City native told PEOPLE Sunday at the Nike + Human Race at Soldier Field in Chicago. "If my friends have anything to say about it, it will probably be a Sox fan. So, knowing me, it will probably come out a mathematician."
The Fall Out Boy bassist has definitely been studious in his fact-finding mission about fatherhood. Besides reading books including The Expectant Father, Wentz, 29, said one famous friend in particular has been a wealth of information.
"Joel [Madden] gives me advice," Wentz said of the Good Charlotte rocker, who's dad to 7-month-old daughter Harlow with girlfriend Nicole Richie. "[It's] been really awesome for me to go to another person my age." During Fall Out Boy's performance at the Nike + Human Race, Simpson – wearing a black blouse and purple pants – hung out backstage with friends. While the band played their cover of Michael Jackson's "Beat It," she started dancing with her arms around her belly.
So, could the song end up on Simpson's labor playlist? "That's probably going to be all up to Ashlee – what she picks," Wentz said. "I couldn't be like, 'Oh, you're going through labor, here's the music I want you to listen to.' So, it's whatever she picks."
That may include his own vocals. Wentz said he sings to the baby "late at night .... Baby's gotten a couple lullabies."
In a recent posting on Simpson's blog, she joked that while she's pregnant, her "closet full of size 0's are being worn by Pete right now and he looks hot in them."

MICHAEL JACKSON: I FEEL 'WISE' AND 'VERY YOUNG' AT AGE 50 Blog
There will be no fireworks or celeb-packed party for Michael Jackson's 50th birthday on Friday. Instead, the star is planning a
low-key celebration with his kids.
"[I'm] having a wonderful time, just relaxing," he told
ABC's Good Morning America.
On his agenda: "A little cake with my children and we'll probably
watch some cartoons." The reclusive singer has three kids, Prince Michael, 11, Paris, 10, and Prince Michael II, 6.
"I feel very wise and sage," he said of turning 50, "but at the same time very young." Plus, the King of Pop assures that he can still perform all his famous dance moves and "more." And despite the controversies of the past years, he's still looking
forward to "great things," professionally. "I am writing all the
time," he told the morning news show in a phone call from California. "I love composing."
But his priorities have changed. "I am also raising my children
and enjoying it and teaching them to ride bicycles and how to read,"
he said. "I love it."
The former child star also said his kids are enjoying freedom he
never had at their age. "I let them go to the arcade and go to the movies and do things," he added. "I want them to get to do the kind of things I didn't get to do."

SINGER MICHAEL JACKSON FEELS "VERY YOUNG" ON 50TH BIRTHDAY Blog
Michael Jackson says he's "having a wonderful time, just relaxing" as he celebrates his 50th birthday Friday.
"I feel very wise and sage, but at the same time very young," he said in a phone interview with ABC's Good Morning America Friday.
How will the King of Pop spend his birthday?
"Just have a little cake with my children and we'll probably watch some cartoons," he revealed.
See photos of Michael Jackson's wackiest moments.
The singer -- who has two children, Paris Katherine, 9, and Prince Michael II, 5 -- told GMA that he would like to release another album soon.
"I am writing all the time," he said. "I love composing and the whole thing. But I am also raising my children and enjoying it and teaching them to ride bicycles and how to read. I love it.
"I get pretty emotional when I see them having a wonderful time," he added. "When they are on a ride and they are screaming and they are happy... It makes me emotional, 'cause I see they are having a real good time."
Jackson, born in Gary, Indiana, found fame in the late '60s with his brothers as part of the Jackson 5 pop group and later as a solo artist in the '70s, '80s and '90s. His 1980 album Thriller is the best-selling LP in history and he's won 13 Grammy Awards.
Jackson said he can still do his famous dance moves -- and "more" -- and singled out Chris Brown for following in his footsteps.
He also said he hasn't received his AARP card yet -- "Not that I know of!" he joked. "You never know. They can find you wherever you are."

USAIN BOLT'S SECRET TO BEING THE FASTEST MAN: CHICKEN NUGGETS Blog
So what is the secret to Jamaican sensation Usain Bolt's incredibly fast times on the track? Waking up at noon and eating chicken nuggets. Or so Bolt told reporters at a press conference following his world-record 10.30 time in the 200-meter dash.
"I got up at the same time pretty much [as I did for the 100 meters], no lie, at noon," Bolt said. "My masseuse brought me the nuggets. I went straight to the track and then my masseuse brought me more nuggets. I just ate two though because my coach said I should not eat so many nuggets."
Bolt also admitted that when he saw his race on the big screen at the Bird's Nest stadium, he thought to himself, "'I look cool,' and I was thinking, 'that guy is fast!'"He certainly isn't the only one thinking that. On Wednesday night in Beijing, Bolt bested Michael Johnson's world record in the 200 meters by .02 seconds and became the first man since Carl Lewis in 1984 to win both the 100-meter and 200-meter dash in the same Summer Games. "It was the most impressive athletics feat I've seen in my life,” said Michael Johnson himself.
In addition to being fast on his feet, Bolt, who turned 22 on Thursday, is a quick quip. When told Johnson called him Superman, Bolt replied, "I'm Lightning Bolt! I am not Flash Gordon or anybody. My name is Bolt, Lightning Bolt."
Whatever he is, he has impressed the heck out of his competitors. U.S. runner Shawn Crawford, who earned a silver medal in the men's 200, said, "He's bad. He broke the 100-meter record, the 200-meter record. I'm serious! He's bad. He's a bad mamma-jamma. Like Michael Jackson said, 'he's bad.' The guy came out and made this the best Olympics of my lifetime."
