Nicky Hilton says she saw pal DJ AM two days ago.
"I think considering the circumstances, he is doing really well," the teary-eyed heiress told Usmagazine.com Wednesday at the "Building a Greater Los Angeles" gala.
She said despite undergoing treatment for second and third degree burns, "he looks just fine."
"I think he has so many friends and family that have kept him going through this," Hilton told Us. "It is just a horrible, horrible situation. He has so many people that love him.
"There is a lot of love. Tons of love."
On Tuesday, Nicky's sister Paris told Ryan Seacrest she and DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, have also been texting.
She said Goldstein told her "how scary" the crash was and that "he's just so lucky to be alive."
Since his release, she also said Goldstein is in good spirits. (On Monday, he attended a memorial service in Los Angeles for Chris "Lil' Chris" Baker, who died in the crash.)
"With all the love and support coming in, it really means a lot," Hilton said of her friend. "He's such a good person. I feel like God really did save him [that day]."

• Jamie Lynn Spears, watching the LSU Tigers
battle the Mississippi Bulldogs with fiancé Casey Aldridge at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La. Before the game, the casual
pair hung in the Tiger Suites on the stadium's east side. But they watched
the match from a luxury suite. On the way to the suite, Spears stopped to
sign autographs and take pictures with young fans, while Aldridge stood by
holding her purse. "She was just mingling," the source says.
• Meanwhile in Chicago, diehard Chicago Bears fan Ashton Kutcher took in the game at Soldier Field with Demi Moore. The handsome couple sat next to legendary Bears hall of fame
running back Gale Sayers. And Kutcher, of course, has football on
the mind: The actor is the new assistant coach for the freshman football team at Los Angeles private school Harvard-Westlake.
• Kirsten Dunst, meeting up with Justin Long for a late breakfast at Hollywood's Kitchen 24 with another guy friend
in tow. Dunst looked tired, an onlooker says of the casual actress, who wore
shorts and flip-flops to the diner. According to the onlooker, the two
"weren't lovey-dovey. They were just hanging out." (Her rep tells PEOPLE the
pair are just friends and are not dating.)
• Tyra Banks, indulging her sweet-tooth at Crave
Cupcakes in Houston's Uptown Park neighborhood while there to preview an
upcoming episode of her talk show. Banks walked in, with entourage in tow,
and took a seat at the bakery's bar, where she immediately enjoyed some
delicious cupcakes. Her favorite flavors? Lemon and strawberry, an insider
tells us.
• Julianne Moore, lunching at 'sNice in New York's West
Village. "She looked tiny and freckly and beautiful," an onlooker tells us
of the actress, who ate a quinoa salad while poring over a script.
• Nicky Hilton, reading magazines and texting her boyfiend
while getting her hair colored by Rachael Ray's colorist,
Emily Thomas, at Cutler Salon in South Beach.

York City! The casual pair left a building in New York's Tribeca
neighborhood together, and Timberlake kept his arm around his girlfriend.
During their Big Apple visit, the couple also dropped by the singer's Upper
East Side restaurant, Southern
Hospitality.• Blake Lively and Penn Badgley, sharing a little post-Saturday Night Live date during an afterparty for the show at Ruby Foo's in New York's Times Square. Lively arrived first, followed by her beau, a bit later. When he arrived, the Gossip Girl star traipsed around the restaurant looking like a lost puppy when at first he couldn't find her. Ultimately they were reunited and sat next to each other, knees touching, at the same dinner table, where they sampled the dim sum. Meanwhile, the show's host, Michael Phelps has his own date for the night – his mom, Debbie! The Olympian also mingled with friends and signed plenty of autographs. And SNL star Andy Samberg spent time with his musician girlfriend Joanna Newsom at the party.
• Mary-Kate Olsen, sitting front and center at the
Benjamin Cho fashion show with artist beau Nate Lowman. The hipster
duo took in the runway action at New York's Altman Building, while her
bodyguards literally stood on the runway before the show began. Soon,
though, they ceded the strip to the model – and Olsen seemed to relax
and enjoy herself after the show.
• Nicky Hilton, dining with boyfriend David Katzenberg at Apple Restaurant in West Hollywood with a group of friends.
The group enjoyed their meal on the patio, where the couple saved room for
dessert. "They especially loved the Crème Fraîche
Cheesecake."
• Robin Thicke, celebrating at W magazine's New
York Affair party with wife Paula Patton. Patton, who was also a
host of the bash, posed for pictures and chatted with guests, though she
never strayed too far from her R&B singer hubby. They were matching in
black and could barely contain themselves from stealing little smooches
throughout the night.

| ENTOURAGE'S KEVIN CONNOLLY RECALLS DAYS BEFORE FAME Blog |
When Kevin Connolly was a struggling actor, his female entourage numbered one: Nicky Hilton.
"Here's what I always respected about Nicky: Before Entourage I was living in a one-bedroom apartment – a broke kid from Long Island – and we got together when I had nothing to offer her," Connolly tells the October issue of Playboy.
That was then. As for now, says Connolly, 34, "We're still friends, and we still hang in the same circles. But the paparazzi aren't hanging out in front of my house anymore. When I was dating Nicky one thing I said was, 'Nothing's worse than being chased by paparazzi who aren't trying to take a picture of you.' "
A product of a blue-collar upbringing, Connolly, also like his character Eric Murphy (aka "E"), moved to Los Angeles and fell in with a group of high-aspiring movers and shakers.
"We had our own fraternity," he recalls, "doing our fair share of a whole lot of nothing, hanging in our actors' flophouse in the [San Fernando] Valley with the same actor guys I hang with now: Tobey Maguire, Leonardo DiCaprio, Lukas Haas and Ethan Suplee. We lived on cheap pizza and pasta – a house of out-of-work actors trying to take care of one another. Leo was the first in our group to pop – more like explode – with an Oscar nomination at 19."Rooming with Spider-ManThen, "Just when I thought life couldn't get any weirder, I walked into Tobey's trailer and he was wearing the Spidey suit."
When it comes to how fame altered his dating life, Connolly says: "I met an attorney, about my age, and I was thinking, 'Okay, this girl is hot.' We were out for dinner, and almost the first words out of her mouth were, 'I haven't seen your show. I hope that's not a problem.' "
The social situation only grew worse. "Then, over dinner, she called me Eric three times. The first time I thought I was hearing things. The second time she definitely called me Eric. The third time I had to set her straight: 'Oh, by the way, my name's Kevin.' I showed her my license. 'So, you've never seen the show? I play a character named Eric on Entourage, which is an odd

Tila Tequila's new gal pal Courtaney Semel was cited for battery after allegedly striking a hotel security guard in Las Vegas.
Semel, 28, daughter of former Yahoo! CEO Terry Semel and star of E!'s Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive, was not arrested, but she must pay a fine or face a Las Vegas justice court judge.
Las Vegas Metro Police Officer Jay Rivera tells PEOPLE that Semel "struck a hotel security guard in the back of the head" during an altercation at 4 a.m. Wednesday.
A source says Semel, a former friend of Lindsay Lohan and the 26-year-old Tequila's current girlfriend, was at Caesars Palace's Pure Nightclub that evening and left her cell phone on the property. When she went back to retrieve it, the club was closed.
"She demanded that they find [the phone] and hit the security guard," the source says.The hotel security guard did not suffer any injuries, Rivera says, adding that Semel was detained in the Caesars Palace's security office until Metro police arrived.
"She was cited for battery and released," Rivera said.
The incident occurred after Semel attended an event hosted by BestofVegas.com at Palazzo Las Vegas's Sushi Samba with both Nicky Hilton and Kourtney Kardashian.
Tequila's rep could not be reached for comment.

• Victoria Beckham, attracting hordes of young
fans to her table while lunching with son Romeo, 5, at the American Girl
Place café at The Grove in Los Angeles. "So many kids were
coming up to the table to meet her," an onlooker tells us. But Posh didn't
mind the attention, the onlooker says. After lunch, the fashionista and her
son walked – or rather, Romeo rolled on his shoes with wheels – with an
entourage (including two bodyguards) to the Quicksilver Youth shop where
they browsed the swimwear before hopping into a waiting car.
• Old friends Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson, chatting with the owner of Hollywood's Green Door in the lounge's library
area. The happy trio chatted, took tequila shots and attracted the attention
of female patrons. "Chicks were coming up to them left and right," an
onlooker tells us. "The guys were having a good time."
• Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson,
getting sweet at Dylan's Candy Bar in East Hampton, N.Y., where the two
shopped for candy. Ronson picked up some chocolate-covered graham crackers
and some candy lipsticks during the quick visit.
• The Jonas Brothers, leaning over the center
balcony at the House of Blues in West Hollywood during Rooney's
concert. (Rooney opened for the Jonas Brothers on their last tour!) The guys
– Joe, Nick and Kevin – were surrounded by a posse of guys their
age who sang and fist-pumped along with every song. While audience
members rocked out to Rooney, too, apparently it was the Jonas Brothers who turned
heads. After the band's encore of "I'm Shakin,'" loads of teenage girls ran
for the balcony stairs to try and meet the guys.
• Marcia Cross, picking up fresh produce and flowers at the
Brentwood Farmers Market. The Desperate Housewives star sported
workout attire while picking up tomatoes, white corn and two bunches of
fresh flowers. The corn was also a hit for Don Cheadle, who grabbed
some to-go as well.
Also Spotted ... • Chace Crawford, celebrating his 23rd birthday
with a white chocolate cake, 200 cupcakes, a barbecue – and pals
Blake Lively and Penn Badgley at Casa El San
Juan Hotel in Water Mill, N.Y. The Gossip Girl hottie told us
about one of his birthday gifts. The present? A painting of Superman,
gifted by his folks. ... Nicky Hilton, flying to the Hamptons
on a V1 jet from Manhattan. The fashion designer hosted a
private bash for guests like Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson, who shopped at Mulberry earlier in the day.
