| SAMANTHA HARRIS PLANS PAMPERING FOR DAUGHTER'S FIRST BIRTHDAY Blog |
Samantha Harris is planning some spa time to coincide with co-hosting next week's Dancing with the Stars premiere – for her soon-to-be 1-year-old daughter, Josselyn.
"To think that a year ago, before the Dancing season premiere of season five, I was giving birth, and how quickly a year goes, it's fun," Harris told PEOPLE at Tuesday's Eagle Eye premiere in Hollywood. "Seeing her smile and giggle, and learn new things each and every single day – it's incredible how quickly at that young age."
In honor of Josselyn Sydney Hess's first birthday Tuesday, Harris planned some fun pampering for the pamper-wearing. "We're going to have a little party at a place that's a kids' spa," she explains. "She's a little young for the mani-pedi, so I think we're just going to have some fun Fisher Price toys to play with, and a lot of other toddlers coming. It will be her first time having cake and ice cream. It will be fun for pictures."After spending the summer working as an E! correspondent, visiting family in Minneapolis, and taking Josselyn to the park, Harris, 34, is back to work this fall on the seventh season of DWTS. But, that doesn't mean she needs to leave the baby at home.
"I brought her to the Dancing set when she was about five months old, and I hope to bring her back this season as well," Harris adds. "She already has a tutu, so she's ready to tango. Wait a second – you don't tango in a tutu, but she'll find a way."
As for a second child from the uber-busy Harris?
"I come from a two-kid household, I think having siblings is a wonderful thing," Harris says. "Thankfully, things are so busy with Dancing with the Stars and E!, that it's a really exciting time in my career. I think down the line it's something we'd love to expand the family. But right now we're just enjoying Josselyn and the time getting to know her as she grows up a little girl."

| SAMANTHA HARRIS IS ROOTING FOR HER DWTS CO-HOST AT THE EMMYS Blog |
She may have been overlooked when it came to this year's Primetime Emmy nominees, but Dancing With the Stars co-host Samantha Harris is not bitter about the snub. She's rooting for her colleague.
"I think [co-host] Tom [Bergeron] should win because he's been in the game a lot longer," Harris told radio deejay Sean Valentine during an interview Monday on his MY FM radio show.
Of course, Bergeron faces tough competition in his category, top host for a reality-competition show. Also nominated: American Idol's Ryan Seacrest, who is also a colleague of Harris's from her work on E! News.
"I've got two guys throwing [the snub] in my face because I work with Tom and Seacrest," she said, joking. "Come on!"The hosting category is a new addition to this year's Emmy awards.
Dancing with the Stars, nominated in several technical categories, is also a contender for outstanding reality-competition program. While Harris would love to claim that award, she says she thinks The Amazing Race poses stiff competition.
"The story lines are so well developed," she says of the show.
"I'm sure The Amazing Race will take it for, what, the 7th year in a row [or] 8th year." Still, she cautions: "Dancing's time is coming!"
