CAUGHT IN THE ACT! Blog
Demi Moore, taking daughter Tallulah, 14, and her friend to breakfast at Joan's on Third in Los Angeles. The trio
"ate breakfast at the community table," an onlooker tells us. "They were
eagerly eating omelets." And some fans lucked out, grabbing Moore's
autograph as she ate.
A roaming (but Romo-less) Jessica Simpson, walking through the lobby of Seattle's Hotel Monaco after checking out with
her malti-poo, Daisy. "She had these huge, dark sunglasses on," an onlooker
says. "She was going for under the radar." But – no surprise –Simpson was noticed by fans. "She was nice enough to pose for pictures with
some guests in the lobby," the onlooker says.
Rihanna, stopping into the Betsey Johnson
boutique in New York's SoHo neighborhood. The R&B star picked up four
evening dresses during her visit. On the same day, Katy Perry stopped in, buying two frocks.
Gabrielle Union, dressed like a cheerleader at her Bring It On-themed 36th birthday party at a private home in L.A. The
actress, who starred opposite Kirsten Dunst in the 2000
movie, made sure she matched her birthday cake – a vanilla and
chocolate-chip ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins with a cheerleader on top.
R&B group Troop performed for Union's 300 guests, who were asked to bring
books and school supplies to be donated to a local elementary school.
She's becoming a fixture on the scene! Amanda Bynes, dancing the night away at Crown Bar in West Hollywood. Sporting a
black tank and tight leopard-print skirt, the starlet and her usual crew of
three girlfriends kept moving to songs like Britney Spears' "Womanizer." Also at the club: Jesse McCartney, enjoying
a rather quiet night with his guy friends.
Adrien Brody, dining with Simon Rex at LAVO, the
restaurant inside of The Palazzo in Las Vegas. The famous friends were
joined at their meal with two other male companions. "[Adrien] was
in town doing a photo shoot," a source says.

DJ AM CELEBRATED AT "WELCOME HOME" PARTY IN HOLLYWOOD Blog
DJ AM's close pals came together at Avalon in Hollywood Tuesday night to raise money for the families affected by his Sept. 19 plane crash that killed four.
Hilary Duff, DJ Mark Ronson, Macy Gray and Simon Rex were among the revelers at the five-hour bash, named "Welcome Home, DJ AM."
"I've met [DJ AM] a few times, and he's a great guy," Duff told Usmagazine.com. "It's a tragic thing that happened, and any way that I can help and support there - I'm here to do it."
Although Travis Barker is still hospitalized for second and third degree burns following the crash, DJ AM made sure he was there in spirit.
Several times throughout the night, AM asked the audience to "say a prayer for my man, Travis."
(The Blink 182 drummer, meanwhile, told Us, "I'm just thankful to be alive.")
AM (real name: Adam Goldstein) was also still showing effects from the crash. He fashioned a mohawk into his hair, which was partially shaved due to his injuries, an eyewitness said.
AM's friends continued to praise how lucky their pal was to survive the tragic wreck.
"He's doing great," Rex (who sometimes goes by the name Dirt Nasty) told Us. "It's amazing he's fine. It's just a miracle I guess. It's just inspirational that the can survive something like that and then keep the party going for their fans."
Added Ronson: "AM and Travis have both spoken in very hopeful and positive ways since the crash.
"AM has been a really good friend for maybe 12 years now," he continued. "He's just one of those people - even though he is so busy - that I would never doubt for a second that if something happened, like if I was stuck in a police station or something, that he would be there.
"He's always there for the people he cares about," Ronson said. "He wouldn't think twice about putting himself out or on the line for any of his friends."

FRIENDS CALL SEEING DJ AM 'AMAZING' AND A 'MIRACLE' Blog
DJ AM made his first big public appearance at a benefit concert Tuesday night in Hollywood, nearly a month after surviving a deadly plane crash with pal Travis Barker.
During the five-hour show at Avalon – dubbed "Welcome Home DJ A.M." – DJ AM (real name: Adam Goldstein), 35, was joined onstage by his closest friends, including fellow celebrity deejays Mark Ronson, Mix Master Mike, Steve Aoki, and That 70s Show's Danny Masterson.
Barker, 32, remains hospitalized in L.A., but recently called Goldstein an inspiration.
Cisco Adler, who was one of the performers, said of Goldstein, "I've known him since we were kids. I just saw him for the first time [since the crash] and it was literally an amazing moment."Pal Simon Rex, who sang two rap songs, told PEOPLE before the show, "I hung out with Adam the other day, he's home, and he's doing great." But he added, "Adam is still I think in shock. He can't believe what happened. It's a miracle."
While onstage, Goldstein laughed with friends, watched the crowd, and sang along to music.
The concert, which drew about 1,500 people – including Hilary Duff, Will.i.am, and Malcolm in the Middle's Chris Masterson – benefited the families of the plane crash victims, which included Travis Barker's close friend and assistant Chris "Lil' Chris" Baker, 29, and his bodyguard, Charles "Che" Still, 25.

DJ AM ATTENDS MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR CRASH VICTIM Blog
DJ AM is among the mourners who attended a memorial service in Los Angeles Monday for Chris "Lil' Chris" Baker, who died in the Learjet crash that killed four and wounded two on Sept. 20 in Columbia, South Carolina.
DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, arrived in a limousine to pay respects to Baker, 29.
Baker was a close friend and assistant to musician Travis Barker, who was also injured in the crash. "He was his right-hand man," actor Simon Rex told PEOPLE after the tragedy.
Baker is survived by his wife, Otillia Villar, and 2-year-old son, Sebastian. Goldstein, dressed in a green polo shirt, followed Villar's request that people wear green to honor her husband's memory.
Goldstein, who suffered burns in the crash, was released from Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Ga., last Friday. Barker, was released from the hospital Monday and is on his way back to Los Angeles on a bus.
