Eddie Van Halen is engaged to his girlfriend/manager Janie Liszewski, PEOPLE has learned.
Van Halen, 53, proposed to Liszewski, 38, on Aug. 4 while they were vacationing in Hawaii. The rock guitarist dropped to one knee and popped the question in a private room at Tiffany's, a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE.
The couple plan to wed next June.
"They are happy, healthy, very much in love and looking forward to living life together forever," says the source. "They are devoted to each other and to experiencing life in a whole new, positive and passionate way."It will be the second marriage for Van Halen. He was married to actress Valerie Bertinelli, with whom he has a 17-year-old son, Wolfgang. It will be the first marriage for Liszewski.
Van Halen returned to touring in April after missing a number of concert dates while undergoing tests for a mystery illness.
In 2002, Van Halen announced that he had recovered from tongue cancer.

Leonardo DiCaprio made a surprise visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday, with his latest project in hand. And no, it wasn't his newest blockbuster film. This time the politically savvy actor was promoting his new public service announcement to increase voter registration. DiCaprio worked with pals Tobey Maguire, Forest Whitaker and Will.I.Am to produce the PSA, which was filmed a week and a half ago at his home. DeGeneres opened the show and talked about receiving a call from DiCaprio inviting her to his Los Angeles home to film the commercial. "Someone bring me the DVD," Ellen asked so she could debut it for her audience. Seconds later DiCaprio strolled out onto the set. "This is really one of the most important elections of our life time and we really need to tell everyone we know to get out there and vote," DiCaprio said on the show.

| KANYE WEST ARRESTED FOR VANDALISM AT L.A. AIRPORT Blog |
Kanye West was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport Thursday morning after allegedly damaging a photographer's camera.
"Mr. West was arrested at 7:51 a.m. outside the passenger screening area by airport police on charges of vandalism," said LAX spokesman Marshall Lowe. "Initial reports say this incident involved a paparazzo and a camera valued at more than $10,000."
"In addition, Mr. West's bodyguard was arrested for vandalism and battery," Lowe said. "Several witnesses are being interviewed by police. West and his bodyguard are being transported to an LAPD station where they're expected to be booked."
A TMZ.com video cameraman who was also on the scene reports that when West, 31, noticed that he was being photographed, he "rushed the photog and grabbed his camera...threw it to the ground, breaking it into pieces," according to the website.
The TMZ.com cameraman, who was taping the events, says he was then approached by the bodyguard, who "grabbed [his] camera, ripped off the mic and viewfinder and smashed it to the ground."
A rep for the rapper had no comment.

| ANNE HATHAWAY'S EX BEGINS PAYING FOR CRIMES Blog |
Though he doesn't face sentencing until Oct. 3 after pleading guilty Wednesday to 14 counts of wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy, Raffaello Follieri has already begun meeting terms of his plea-bargain agreement.
Besides paying the federal government $2.4 million he made attracting investors to real-estate ventures, Follieri, 30, is also surrendering 12 watches – among them, a Rolex, a Cartier, a Harrods, a Donald Trump and three Omegas – and nine pieces of jewelry, reports The New York Times. The jewelry is believed to have belonged to Follieri's former girlfriend, Anne Hathaway.
Those pieces reportedly include a gold-colored ring with light blue-green stone, a pair of silver earrings and blue and clear stones, a 16-inch five-strand necklace with pearl beads, and a 32-inch gold-colored chain with a red-brown stone and gold-colored tassel.
In addition, reports the New York Post, Follieri must forfeit some precious metals and jewelry he stored in the Bronx, as well as a Cartier figurine in a box and a Tiffany clock. Follieri, who lived in a $37,000-a-month Manhattan apartment in Trump Tower, faces a suggested sentence of between 4¼ and 5¼ years.
"He's a con artist," social acquaintance Paolo Zampolli, who works in real estate development, tells The Times. "He deserves what he gets."
Hathaway, who admitted in a recent interview her world fell apart with Follieri's downfall, has not been quoted as commenting since he made his guilty pleas Wednesday.

Aubrey O'Day is slamming a new In Touch report that she's “hooking up” with her Hairspray co-star Ashley Parker Angel.
"The story is completely false," O'Day, 24, tells Usmagazine.com. "I am having a great time with my co-star on stage and there has never been a romantic relationship at all.
"Furthermore, there was never a date on July 17," O'Day goes on. "A party was thrown to celebrate my opening night on Broadway at Pop Burger and the cast and crew of Hairspray were invited.
"I appreciate the support Ashley Parker Angel gave by attending my event," she says.

He's still in diapers, but Usher Raymond V is already stealing some of his dad's famous moves.
At just 8 months old, "Cinco," as his parents call him, "is already trying [to do flips]," his dad Usher told PEOPLE Friday at an event at Tiffany & Co. in Atlanta for his non-profit Usher's New Look foundation. "He's a pull-up master."
Looking ahead to his own 30th birthday in October, Usher – who recently helped mentor 126 underserved kids through his annual Camp New Look – said he is excited about the milestone.
"That's something to be proud of," he said. "I'm so proud to be a father by the time I'm 30. I'd hate to be 80 years old and not be able to run with my kids. I need to still be able to do back flips when they're in high school!"How did he learn his moves? "My grandmother – my Nanny – she's actually the person who taught me how to tumble," he said. "So I'm saying to myself, 'I can't get too old, or I can't show my kid how to flip!'"

| ANNE HATHAWAY'S DIARIES CONFISCATED BY FBI Blog |
Actress Anne Hathaway's private diaries have been confiscated by the FBI as part of their ongoing investigation into 12 counts of wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering charged against her ex-boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, the New York Daily News reported Thursday.
Personal photos of the couple along with other documents and items including a Tiffany clock and an antique bible were also taken by the FBI, according to the paper.
Hathaway, 25, dumped the 29-year-old Italian businessman days before he was arrested at the end of June. She has not been implicated in any of his alleged crimes.

U.S. Attorney's spokeswoman Rebekah Carmichael told Usmagazine.com: "We have no comment."
Follieri now faces the possibility of life in prison.
According to the United States Attorney's Office, Follieri misappropriated "hundreds of thousands of dollars in investor money to live a luxurious lifestyle, including expensive restaurants and clothes; dog walking services; an opulent apartment in Manhattan that leased for approximately $37,000 per month; medical expenses for his girlfriend at the time and his parents, including a 'house call' by Follieri's physician, which cost $30,000."
Prosecutors also charge he claimed the Vatican formally appointed him to manage its financial affairs, and that he met with the Pope in person while in Italy — but "in reality, [his] connections consisted of an adminstrative employee at the Vatican who was paid by Follieri."
He was previously arrested in April for allegedly writing a $215,000 bad check.

After his 90s boy band O-Town split, he was only able to support himself in L.A. for a year-and-a-half.

"She didn't really know what she was getting herself into," he has said. "She was really brave to open her life up like that."
Angel, 27, is currently starring in the Broadway musical Hairspray.
