| TOM BRADY GETS AMBUSHED ON HIS BIRTHDAY Blog |
Tom Brady turned 32 on Monday, and it looks like everyone remembered his special day.
The New England Patriots quarterback was appearing on SIRIUS XM's Mad Dog Radio Show on Monday when his parents, Tom and Galynn, called in and surprised him by singing "Happy Birthday." It was a special sacrifice for Brady's west coast-based parents, who had to get up at 3:45 a.m. to perform the serenade.
"I wasn't expecting this," Brady laughed.
The fun continued at football practice later that afternoon. According to the Boston Globe, players stole Brady's helmet during the pre-practice stretches. Then, during the huddle, the team ambushed Brady by pouring a bucket of ice water over his head and rubbing cake in his face. At least the celebration included more singing than pranks. Brady also enjoyed the front row of a Coldplay concert in Boston, sitting just a few feet away from lead singer Chris Martin.

Pregnant with her first child, supermodel Gisele Bündchen is focusing on family and home life these days.
"I am crazy about children ... I am an adoptive mother ... I've already had this experience for two years," she says in a recent TV interview with Brazil's Fantastico, of her relationship with husband Tom Brady's 21-month-old son John Brady, whose mother is actress Bridget Moynahan.
Bündchen also raves about getting hitched this past Spring. "I think I've met the right person, my partner, my companion," she says. "I already knew that we would get married a year and a half before we got married. We felt it. The heart spoke louder."When the heart speaks, priorities change, she adds. "Before ... I had to go out, had to work. Now I think about it twice, three times, four times. So I only
do the things that I really want to do," Bündchen says. "I prefer to stay at home. The big husband wins. Because of this relationship, what is most important
to me is the family. Now I am creating my other family."
And, in addition to preparing for her new baby, she wants to prepare ... dinner. Says Bündchen, who turns 29 in July, "I am Cancer. I want to stay at home, cooking, relaxing. You

Gisele Bündchen is expecting and "ecstatic," sources tell PEOPLE. She is due early next year.
Speculation has grown since pictures showing the supermodel in Brazil this week surfaced showing what seems to be a perceptible bump. Bündchen and New England Patriots quarterback husband Tom Brady were married twice this Spring – first in a ceremony in Los Angeles Feb. 26, then exchanging vows before friends in early April at Bündchen's Costa Rica home.
"Gisele will be an excellent mother," a source tells PEOPLE. "She's always wanted kids." Reps for Bündchen reached by PEOPLE for confirmation refused to comment.“Family is everything," Bündchen, who turns 29 next month, told PEOPLE last month. "I think family is the base to everything. I think that is one of the things I’m most grateful for. I have a lot to be grateful for but I think that's definitely number one.”
Another source close to the couple says, "You know Gisele and Tom are just enjoying themselves, being married and just doing their thing ... Gisele has been talking about it with friends. She says she's ready for a family."
This is her first child; Brady has a son, John, with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.

In what sounds like the plotline of a romantic comedy, a Massachusetts woman fished Tom Brady out of the water.
The breathtaking rescue operation took place after the New England Patriots quarterback and his wife, Gisele Bündchen, went kayaking in the Charles River – and Brady fell in.
To save the day: local schoolteacher Robin Leeds.
"We were tying up our boat to a buoy and the boat boy came over and said, 'You are never going to guess who is on the Charles renting kayaks right now … Do you want to go check it out?' " Leeds told Boston's Channel 7 News. "I said, 'Yeah.' " While stargazing in a motorboat, Leeds saw that Brady was missing from his kayak – and in the water. So she pulled him into her boat.
"I actually asked him why he fell in. He said he was racing one of his friends," said Leeds, who found Brady "really friendly, really appreciative that we fished him out of the Charles."
All in all, a memorable moment. Afterward, Leeds said, "I talked with Gisele. We talked about how beautiful the weather it was." And she asked Brady if he would pose for a photo with her.
"Of course," she said he replied, also telling her, "you saved my life."

Jay Leno left 'em laughing as he performed his final monologue from The Tonight Show stage Friday, taking time to thank those who made his show successful – Monica Lewinsky, Michael Jackson, and Bill Clinton – and to reflect on how much time has past since he first took over the stage from his mentor Johnny Carson in 1992.
"When we started this show," Leno told a cheering crowd in the standing-room-only studio in Burbank, "my hair was black and the president was white. When we started the show, Jon and Kate were both eight." Before his successor, the younger, taller and visibly more nervous Conan O'Brien, took a seat on the couch next to him, Leno noted that the same security guard who has checked him in for the last 17 years offered the same greeting as he drove on the studio lot Friday night: "And you are?"
As for souvenirs, Leno said, "NBC has been nothing but great. [President and CEO of NBC Universal] Jeff Zucker said for $40, I can purchase the robe that's hanging in my dressing room."
After tonight, which marked the 3,775th
Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the host said, "I'm going to be going to a secluded spot where no one can find me – NBC prime time."
Leno's new hour-long comedy show will premiere on NBC at the 10 p.m. timeslot on a date to be announced in September.

In a new interview, Levi Johnston gets a few things off his chest – starting with his shirt.
The teen father of Bristol Palin's baby is bare from the top up as he changes son Tripp's diaper in the July issue of GQ. In the article he says he believes Sarah and Todd Palin pressured their daughter to break up with him after Tripp's birth.
"Just going over there makes me pretty damn uncomfortable," Johnston, 19, tells the magazine. "Just going over there, and Todd and Sarah sitting there staring at me, doesn't do it for me. Todd never says anything, really. Sarah's ... a politician: She knows how to throw in a fake smile and look happy."
Johnston, an avid hunter who also poses for the magazine in fatigues and a rifle, says he felt the Palins were sending mixed messages as to whether they wanted him to be part of their family.
"I know that her parents didn't want us together ... so they probably put a little pressure on her," he said. "But at the same time, they told us they wanted us to get married when they found out Bristol was pregnant. ... I don't know what the deal was."
Johnston says he had been in love with Bristol and that their three-year relationship started to fall apart almost immediately after the Republican National Convention. As for a potential reconciliation, "Nah, I don't think that's gonna happen," he said.

Former Family Matters actress Jaimee Foxworth and her longtime boyfriend, Michael Shaw, welcomed son Michael Douglas Shaw Jr. Friday in Los Angeles, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.
The baby boy, who was 10 days overdue, weighed in at 6 lbs., 11 oz., and was 19 ¼ inches long.
"This is the best day of my life," Foxworth, 29, shared – via text! – from the delivery room. "I am so excited to be a mother and I also look forward to getting back to work."
When she announced her pregnancy in December, Foxworth told PEOPLE, "I haven't been this happy in years."The actress faced some tough times after being written off of Family Matters, turning to drugs and eventually ending up on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. However, with a new baby and a new outlook on life, Foxworth is ready to rebuild. She shared with PEOPLE, "I've been through a lot of pain in the past and … I now look forward to years of joy to share with my child."
First up for Foxworth – after spending some time with baby! – is an episode of the new reality series Life After, airing in August on TV One.

Angelina Jolie sustained what producers describe as "a minor injury" while shooting an action scene on the Long Island set of the spy thriller Salt – but she has already resumed filming, PEOPLE has confirmed.
While the injury never appeared serious, the actress and mother of six – who apparently got a scratch on her face and bumped her head – was rushed to the nearest to the hospital.
"As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie will be taken to the hospital and examined," the studio said in a statement earlier Friday.
The tough-as-nails Jolie, 33, was released after a thorough examination and went right back to work.

From the wall of sound to prison walls.
Legendary record producer Phil Spector was sentenced Friday to 19 years to life for his second-degree murder conviction for shooting actress Lana Clarkson.
Spector, 69, who worked with The Ronettes, The Beatles, Cher and Ike and Tina Turner, was accused of shooting Clarkson, 40, in the mouth in the foyer of his castle-like home in the Los Angeles suburb of Alhambra. The Feb. 3, 2003, shooting occurred hours after the two met at the House of Blues nightclub, where Clarkson worked as a hostess. Spector has denied murdering Clarkson. His attorneys suggested Clarkson committed suicide. But several witnesses testified that Spector for years had bullied and tormented them with guns.
Spector was convicted in April in a retrial after a previous jury deadlocked in 2007.
Before the sentencing, the victim's mother, Donna Clarkson, told the judge she was heartbroken over the death of her daughter. "All our plans together are destroyed. Now I can only visit her in the cemetery," she said.
Clarkson's family has also filed a wrongful death lawsuit, which has not yet gone to trial.

| JADE GOODY'S WIDOWER LEAVES JAIL Blog |
Jack Tweed, the widower of tragic reality TV star Jade Goody, was released from jail Friday after serving only half of a 12-week sentence for assaulting a taxi driver in May 2008.
Tweed, 21, stepped into the English sunshine to be greeted with a kiss by his mom Mary at Edmunds Hill Prison near Newmarket, Suffolk, about 70 miles northeast of London.
Tweed married Goody, 27, in the last weeks of her life as she fought a very public battle with cervical cancer. The mother-of-two, who had shot to fame in Big Brother died in March. Her April funeral was witnessed by thousands of fans who lined the route to the church. Tweed was jailed soon after, on April 14.
Then, magistrates gave him a more lenient sentence for the 2008 assault because of a change in "his personal circumstances," the BBC reports.
One of his first acts as a free man was to visit his wife's grave and celebrate his freedom with a party in a nightclub near his home Sunday.
Meanwhile, Goody's life still fascinates the public. A cancer diary she penned as a love letter to her sons Bobby, 5, and Freddy, 4, has sold 86,000 copies in five weeks.

For Tom Brady it seems that absence really does make the heart grow fonder.
The football star shares custody of his 1½-year-old son John Edward Thomas with ex, Bridget Moynahan – but he says that arrangement makes the time with his boy even more important.
"I don't see him every day, and we play when I change his diaper: lifting his leg up, playing with his toes, biting his feet," the England Patriots quarterback tells Sports Illustrated in its June 1, issue on newsstands Wednesday. "There's a different appreciation. If you had him every day, you'd go, 'Let's just get this done.' But when you get him, say, one week a month, you're like, 'This is so cool!' "Brady, who married Gisele Bündchen in February, says he also missed football when he was out recovering from a knee injury.
"When I was playing every week, I bitched about the little things," says Brady "Like, God, we've got to go outside today? It's raining! … Or, why do we have a meeting at 7:30 to talk about everything we've already talked about? Geez! Then when you're not playing, you realize that you would [gladly] do any of that."
As for his future, Brady says his goals are simple: "I want to play this game I love, be with my wife and son and enjoy life."

Bündchen, 28, who spoke to PEOPLE at a Wednesday gala benefiting the Rainforest Alliance at New York's Museum of Natural History, certainly has a lot to be grateful for – starting with her new husband, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, 31.
She admits pulling off two top-secret weddings – a Feb. 26 ceremony at a Catholic church in Santa Monica, and a second fete at her Costa Rican vacation home on April 4 – was no easy feat. "We tried very hard to keep it private. Oh my God, you have no idea how hard that was," Bündchen said with a laugh. Yet it was worth it. "Yes," she said, "we had a great time. I think we were very lucky."
Unaware of ScuffleNor did they let reports of a scuffle between security guards and photographers disrupt their joy. "We were all there and nobody heard anything!" says Bündchen of the alleged shooting that took place outside her Costa Rican villa. "The next day people were calling, and I'm like, 'I don't know what you're talking about.' I didn't even know it was happening. Later on, I was like, 'What? What happened on my day?' "
With only their closest friends and family present, "we had a great time," says Bündchen, who is now stepmom to Brady's son John with his ex, Bridget Moynahan. "I think family is the base to everything. I have a lot to be grateful for but I think family is definitely number one."
Her Amazon ProjectShe is certainly close with her own, visiting her hometown of Horizontina, Brazil, as often as possible and working with her father, Valdir, on an environmental project with the Brazilian government.
"I just started my own project in Brazil with my dad to replant trees," she says. The project, Água Limpa, aims to re-plant deforested areas of the Amazon, to prevent chemicals and pesticides from local farms from seeping into the river water.
"We've planted over 200,000 trees so far," says Bündchen, who is also working with the Rainforest Alliance to promote sustainable business practices. "Fresh water is only so much and you can't reproduce it. I'm behind this cause, and I think it's important to get the message out."

Talk about a shotgun wedding.
Bodyguards for Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen opened fire on photographers at the couple's second wedding outside the model's home in Costa Rica early Saturday evening.
No one was injured, but a bullet smashed through the rear window of the photographers' SUV and then through the front windshield.
"At that moment, I thought was going to die," lensman Rolando Aviles told the New York Post. "The bullet went between us, missing our heads. If the bullet had been a little more to the left or right, it would have killed one of us."
Aviles said he and colleague Yuri Cortez, both freelance photographers for the INF photo agency, had permission from Bundchen's neighbor to shoot the wedding ceremony from a vista about 300 feet away from the ceremony. (Bunchen had sold official photographs to a Brazilian magazine.)
As they started snapping shots, the couple's bodyguards chased after them, according to Aviles.
The two ran their separate ways.
Aviles' colleague made it back to their SUV first and was greeted by a Brady bodyguard.
According to the Post, Aviles quoted the guard as saying, "Tom Brady just wants to talk to you. It's OK, nothing's going to happen."
When the photographers went back to Bundchen's house, three members of the wedding party and five bodyguards surrounded them.
Brady's best man reportedly yelled, "Take a picture of me now, you f- - -er! F- - - you," according the Post.
Not wanting to get into a fight, the photographers left the scene. As they were pulling away, a guard fired a shot, with a .38-caliber bullet blowing out the back windshield and hitting a front windshield wiper. The bullet eventually landed between the two photographers.
Said Aviles, "I thought this was going to be my last job."

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen continued their low-key Costa Rican weekend wedding celebration by hitting the beach and enjoying a barbecue before their big day Saturday.
The couple – along with Brady's son John (with former girlfriend Bridget Moynahan) and his parents – hit the beach Friday around noon, where the New England Patriots quarterback chased his 1 ½-year-old son around the surf.
While Brady, 31, and Bündchen, 28, relaxed by the beach, most of their wedding guests spent the afternoon lounging poolside at their hotels. To help their guests get around the village and beaches of Malpais, the couple rented seven quadcars – small four-wheeled motorcycle-like vehicles, a source tells PEOPLE.
Later, friends and family gathered at the couple’s home in the area for an evening barbecue.
The night before, the Brady-Bündchen wedding party enjoyed a laidback rehearsal dinner at the Milarepa beachfront hotel.

Before the party really kicks into high gear, Thursday night brought the rehearsal dinner for Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady's upcoming Costa Rican weekend wedding for friends, family, Brady's New England Patriots teammates and Bündchen's modeling-world pals.
The festivities in the Central American country follow the intimate Feb. 26 nuptials at St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, Calif., which featured Brady's 1½-year-old-son (with former girlfriend Bridget Moynahan) and only a few other guests to witness Brady, 31, and Bündchen, 28, tie the knot.
Thursday's gathering for about 25 people took place at the Milarepa beachfront hotel and restaurant. According to the resort's Web site, this is "a small hotel of luxurious simplicity" with "miles of perfect pale gold beaches, fringed to the high tide mark by lush trees and flowers with outcroppings of rock where tide pools form."It's also well off the beaten path. To enter Milarepa, guests drive downhill off the main road that runs out of Santa Teresa. To reach the party destination, they then had to walk through a wooded area to an outdoor dining room under a wooden roof.
Of the party guests, a source tells PEOPLE, "They are a fun group. They seem so easygoing and laidback … a lot of fun. They're cool people."
On their menu were various kinds of tempura fish and octopus – the destination specializes in seafood – as well as salads with blue cheese. The full bar, known for its Caipirinhas and mojitos, was also fully stocked with San Pellegrino water and white wine.
From the wooden tables set up for the Brady-Bündchen party, guests could walk several hundred yards past a lounge area with a small, shallow pool and down to the beach, described in hotel literature as "the Hawaii of Latin America."

"I'm thrilled," the singer, 24, told Usmagazine.com at the Latisse launch party in L.A. Thursday night. "Very, very happy."

The couple tied the knot in Savannah, Georgia on March 10, between Adams' tour stops, their reps confirmed to Us then.
As for taking a honeymoon, Moore says, "I don't know. I'm sort of shy about answering questions about it. I'm trying to keep as much for myself, but things are good right now. It's nice to be home and relaxing and taking a bit of time off."

Moore's ceremony to Ryan, 34 -- whom she dated on and off since March 2008 -- was intimate, but she wouldn't necessarily advise other brides to keep it small.
"I would recommend whatever you feel comfortable doing and not going against how you really feel," she told Us "It's just important to maintain what feels authentic and organic and genuine for you."
And don't expect her to follow in the footsteps of Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen -- who are throwing a second ceremony in Costa Rica on April 4 to celebrate their Feb. 28 "I Do's."

When asked if she'd have a bigger celebration later, Moore told Us: "I think I'm done with that."
Moore's next album hits stores May 26.
"My first single is called I Can Break Your Heart Any Day of the Week," she tells Us. "I wrote the whole [album] with my friend...It's a bit of a different step, kind of a similar vain from the last record, but my first single is pretty poppy and a little tongue in cheek."

But Brady, 31, and Bündchen, 28, are still not pulling out all the stops.
