Beverly Hills life agrees with Victoria Beckham.
"I'm so content," she tells Britain's Sun, "I've even been smiling a bit these days."
That's not the only surprise to which she admits. Turns out, there is a shopaholic in her household – but not who you think.
"David definitely spends much more money than I do," says Victoria, 34. "I don't really go shopping any more." And that's not her only lifestyle change since moving from London to L.A. last year. Long known to be exercise-averse, the former Posh Spice says she now regularly breaks a sweat.
Fitness Routine"I run four miles, seven days a week," she says. "I feel energized and healthy – there are really nice gyms here and I just enjoy it. … I do feel so much better."
It's a healthy new habit her sporty Spice-Boy-hubby heartily endorses.
"David puts music on my iPod, and Gordon Ramsay bought me [sneakers] where you have a little chip so you can clock how far you're running," Beckham tells the paper while promoting her new fragrance, Signature.
And she's even taken to eating carb-laden toast for breakfast.
"Yes, I am eating more," she says. "I think you do eat more when you're working out. And you want to eat healthily, so it's good all round."
"I can genuinely say I'm content and happy at the moment," adds Beckham.

The two-year-old showed off pigtails while strolling New York City Thursday with Holmes.

Tonight, previews begin for the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons. (Cruise joined Holmes at her final rehearsal Wednesday, smiling and walking arm-in-arm with her as they exited the theater.)
"Things are going really well for Katie," he recently told the New York Post's Liz Smith. "We'll see you on opening night, Sept. 18."

Cruise and Suri aren't the only familiar faces who can't wait to see Holmes take the stage.
Dawson's Creek co-star Joshua Jackson told reporters: "Of course!" he'll see her.

Britney Spears revved up the celebration for sons Preston and Jayden on Saturday, throwing her sons a joint car and truck-themed birthday bash in Los Angeles.
And the party was truly a family affair.
Spears celebrated her boys' special days – Preston turns 3 on Sept. 14, and Jayden turned 2 on Sept. 12 – with sister Jamie Lynn Spears, her newborn niece Maddie Briann, dad Jamie and mom Lynne.
Held at close friend Adrienne Maloof-Nassif's Beverly Park house, the outdoor party drew some famous guests, including Jenny McCarthy with her son Evan, and Gwen Stefani's son Kingston, 2, who came to the bash from an equally starry affair: He celebrated Heidi Klum's son Henry's 3rd birthday at the model's Beverly Hills house along with all three of Victoria Beckham's sons. But the guests of honor seemed to be having the best time. Preston and Jayden drove around the party in mini motorized cars, which were customized Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier. The cars featured tattoo-inspired decals, Ed Hardy air fresheners and personalized license plates. To keep with the party's theme, the cake was in shape of a yellow truck.
"The boys received tons of birthday gifts," a source told PEOPLE. "Britney and her family really made the party special for the boys."

Following in his parents' fancy footsteps, Romeo Beckham celebrated his sixth birthday in style with a superhero outing including some fellow famous kids.
Clutching mom Victoria Beckham's hand as they walked through Universal CityWalk, Romeo (clad in a superhero costume) "seemed excited," said an onlooker. "He kept hopping up and down when they exited the movie theatre."
The festivities kicked into high gear when the group made their way to the Hard Rock Cafe. Eldest son Brooklyn, 9, led the way, walking in front of the gang, which included Heidi Klum, Gavin Rossdale, and Geri Halliwell, who brought along their kids. "Everyone was smiling and seemed relaxed and happy, despite the chaos caused by fans and paparazzi," says the onlooker. After about two hours of celebrating, the party died down and families departed one by one.

Friendship never ends?
That's not exactly true, admits Melanie Brown, who says she doesn't speak regularly to her fellow Spice Girls. "We're not in touch much," she tells the new issue of British magazine Closer.
And that includes Victoria Beckham – even though the two former bandmates live just a few miles apart in Los Angeles.
"Victoria and I are very different," Brown explains. "People bracket us together because we live in the same city and we're both interested in fashion. Victoria's fashion line has been very successful and hopefully mine will be too. But that's where the similarities begin and end." The performer – who has appeared on Dancing with the Stars and is working on her own fashion line, Catty Couture – says her children are her main focus. (She is mom to daughters Phoenix Chi, 9, and Angel Iris, 1 – who was famously fathered by Eddie Murphy.)
"I love being at home with my family. My kids make me cry – in a good way," said Brown, who's married to music producer Stephen Belafonte. "I love it when they learn something new and it makes me shed a tear or two. I'd hate to miss out on any of that."

Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm announced on her Web site Friday that she and her beau of six years, property developer Thomas Starr, are expecting their first child.
"Some happy news," she wrote. "I can now announce that Tom and I are expecting a baby and we are very happy."

In the meantime, she said she is nursing her other baby: her upcoming solo album.

Mel C. follows in the footsteps of her former Spice Girls bandmates – Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton – who have all become moms. Baby buzz building began last week, when Chisholm wore a baggy dress during a show in Liverpool last week.
"As I'm sure you'll understand, we needed time to wait for results and tell our families," she explained on the site.
Even as she prepares for motherhood, the singer says she's "also excited" to begin writing songs for a new solo album.
"I will need to take some time off to be a mum," she wrote. "But, before you know it, we'll be back."

side. The happy couple attended an A-list soiree (thrown by the mag's
editor-in-chief Linda Wells) on the roof of
the Thompson Beverly Hills hotel. The couple held hands on the way to
dinner, and acted "affectionate all night long," a guest tells us. Guests
were also given the Beckhams' new fragrance, Signature for Her, and dined on
sushi, steak and salad cooked by BondSt, the sushi restaurant inside the hotel.
• Also at the Allure fete: Kate Beckinsale and hubby Len Wiseman. Eva Longoria Parker was there with husband Tony Parker, too
– and the Desperate Housewives actress hugged Beckinsale,
saying, "You're so tiny!"
• Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson were
attached at the hip inside the bash, a guest tells us. Even while Ronson spun
her famous blend of '80s tunes from the deejay booth at the
event (which also brought out Jamie Foxx and Quincy Jones),
Lohan was huddled by her side. Later, the twosome joined the
party and, at one point, Lohan even ordered tea (how proper!) while sitting
at the Beckhams' table.
• Ginnifer Goodwin, biking to Santa Monica's Exhale Yoga
with boyfriend Chris Klein. The pair went in together, then set up their
mats side-by-side. Klein put his mat so close to his girlfriend's
– too close! – that the teacher had to separate them. After their
workout, the pair hopped on their bikes and headed off.
• Cynthia Nixon and her girlfriend, Christine Marinoni, enjoying a quiet dinner
at Wei Fun in East Hampton, N.Y. The couple sat on the patio eating curry shrimp,
vegetable fried rice and pea shoots, and drank tea.
• Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf, hosting the Eaturna
Kids Tennis Clinic in Santa Monica. The cute couple was very professional,
letting every kid – among the 100 who turned out – participate.
